Just Doesn’t Work
I have 12 fish in my 75 gallon cichlid tank. My fish are primarily African Mbunas (Rock Dwellers) who stay toward the bottom of the tank. I was trying to get a “jerk fish” out of my tank. This trap sat on the bottom, like their cichlid rocks, and after four days not one fish entered this trap.

Works for Endler’s and Snails
I bought this for trapping snails, but found out That Endler’s Livebearers also get caught well. I kept the door hatch on top closed, and the angled part with holes swings inward. I kept it open a small gap with some leftover tubing. Endler’s would come in to eat the algae wafers but too stupid to find their way out.I keep the top open now, so only snails really get stuck.Best snail trap I’ve ever tried.

Snails
If your aquarium was taken over by snails like mine was you MUST try this. This is great for catching snails! Iâve caught my plaeco a couple times because he was hungry but it was easy to get him out. However because of this trap I was able to remove hundreds of snails. Totally recommend.

Catching fish
Works good for catching medium fish but not corycats fish!

So far, nothing
I put this baited “trap” into a tank that contains numerous small pond snails. None have entered the trap.

Useless
It basically kept the snails away from the bait. The holes are too small for even mini ramshorns to fit through

Works for snails
I’m using it as a snail trap and it seems to be working well.
