Great for special needs dogs
I have this food on auto ship. My dog loves this food. We switched to Purina Pro because itâs one of only a few approved foods he can have due to allergies. I tried several before settling on this one. Will continue to buy.

Affordable fish-only protein dog food
This is an affordable choice if your dog suffers from chicken and/or beef or protein allergies. Other limited ingredient brands cost much more. It is available in both canned and dry options. Beware the ingredients of many brands whose packaging display flavors like “salmon” on the front of the bag, but if you check the ingredients find that there is often chicken byproducts or chicken meal. My dog was picky
My GSD liked it for few months but towards the end I had to change to a different one, price could be lesser, it is expensive for what itâs worth. I donât know it taste however, at first she did ate it but not for long. Bella didnât have to bad of a digestion issues, but the calories werenât heavy enough.

Moldy/Dented cans/Dog barely ate it.
I ordered this for my dog with allergies to see if it would help. My dog wouldn’t eat it out of his bowl the first 3 days. Finally, I started hand feeding it so he would eat it. Also the case had a few dented cans which was annoying because the food is very thick and doesn’t easily come out of the can, so the dents made it even more laborious. One of the cans was dented so badly that it was open and when I went to use it, the food was moldy. So, out of the 12 cans my dog only ate 8. I feel that this order was a waste of my money.

Mini Poodle (6 yrs old) and Bichon Frise – Shih Tzu (11 yrs old) have been eating both the wet and dry versions of this for over 3 years now and absolutely healthy (they have their winter groom happening in pictures so looking abit pudgy).Our newly adopted French Bulldog (3.5 yrs old) came from free-feeding whatever was put in front of her and aside from some gas is doing fine after 6 months.Can’t speak to the taste myself but I know it has great nutrients and ingredients, our vet totally approves, it’s priced right for our budget and our pack loves it.

I think the consistency is too mushy. Itâs more like a cat food. My dog didnât seem to know how to eat it. She kept trying to pick some up with her teeth but it was too soft. She got fed up and just tried to turn her dish over every time. I mixed in some hard food and that seemed to help.
