Great sinking pellet food
I worked in Saltwater for years and Formula 1 has always been my go-to pellet food for my own fish and when I was recommending food to a customer. All my fish enjoy it and it is a good size for small to medium sized fish. The hermits love it too! The pellets come in a sealed bag inside the jar, so if you have a few extra unopened bottles around, you don’t have to worry about moisture getting in and making the pellets clump.I’ve seen some people worry about pellets being too small- but larger fish can eat small pellets just as easily as larger pellets. A mix of multiple types of food (pellets, mysis, etc.) is always best for a tank!

Fish like it and the pellets sink
I have algae pellets (Hikari Seaweed Extreme) and also like to have “meaty” pellets to feed my saltwater fish. All the various carnivorous fish like these pellets and unlike some other brands they actually sink. Some of the others float so you can’t just drop them in; you have to release them underwater and even then a big portion float up to the surface and go into the overflow almost immediately. That makes it impossible to use them with an auto feeder when I’m gone. With the Formula One you can put them in a feeder and works great. Fish happy, I’m happy!!

Great Food
I fed this to my fish everyday. My reef fish went crazy for it. The garlic is a nice touch to aid in flavor (and arguably strengthen their immunity to marine parasites and disease). I never had any problems so I guess it did something. I’m a strong supporter of these pellets as a part of my marine fishs’ diet.

Perfect Pellets ever!!
They are the perfect size for most fish. My small clown first ad issues but liked them so much he learned to eat them. They smell good. And the fish really really like/prefer these pellets.

Sinks very quickly, but the fish like it
My hawkfish and coral beauty love this food. Only drawback is that the pellets sink very quickly even thought they are small.

Does not sink!!!
The food is attractive to my fish but it will not sink because it cannot break the surface tension of the water. It just floats into the overflow unless some of them make it to the whirl pool sometimes generated near the power head. If it goes underwater then yes it will sink. Roughly 90% off the dropped pellets will not break the surface tension of the water. I am running a saltwater tank so just what this product is meant for.Not a reliable means of fish feeding! Do not buy the small size. I have the medium size which definitely sinks but is too big for some of my fish. The small pellet size seems to be too small. If it were slightly bigger, it may have an easier time getting below the surface but still be small enough to be eaten by small mouth fish. I can’t return the product so now I am stuck with it.

My fish love these, gobble them up instantly. they sink well enough too, giving my inverts something to scrounge for too.My salt water fish have been eating these for months and seem pretty happy, still got half a put left too, so they go a long way.I Cant comment on fish colours as they just as vibrant on the old food. Will 100% buy them again.
