This came packaged well with tape firmly wrapped around the lid to prevent leakage in transit. My horse hates it. She really isn’t a fan. She would much prefer to steal her pasture-mate’s food that doesn’t have the Red Cell added. I’ve found though that if I put it on her grain and let it sit for a few hours and dry then she will eat it without much complaint. This could simply be my mare’s preference so I can’t speak for other horses. I purchased it because my mare was mildly anemic on her last lab check. She was underweight when I got her and hadn’t been fed properly at her previous barn so we wanted to perk her up a bit. I do think it is helping with her energy. Her coat is much more glossy/healthy and her weight is improving significantly. This could just be due to the better nutrition she gets from our feed but I can’t help but think the Red Cell helps. That’s my two cents.
