Great mat for reptiles!
I bought this for my bearded dragon cage and am so glad I did. This makes for such an easier clean up. I throw away any large pieces and then place this in a washing machines on delicate and wash away the odors. No scrubbing no taking everything out and trying to wipe down the bottom this makes it very easy to c=keep a clean pen. I used scissors to cut the excess of s that it would fit in my cage for the pet. Having 2 of these come together make it great to rotate them out while one is being washed. The bonus to this purchase are the tweezers they are long and perfect for feeding insects! Will buy again!!

Just simply good. Clean up for my bearded lizard is easy. I wish they made the size to fit the fish tank exactly. No need to cut. Example: fit a 40 gal. tank exactly.

Our Gecko Leopard Loves it!
So we got two of these, and we switch them out every couple of days. This is my first lizard, so for me this has been a pretty easy solution. We rescued our lizard, and previously there was a green felt substrate that was supposed to be vacuumed on a regular basis. But with these mats, we spot clean daily, then use a water hose outside and wash and dry them. After a few washes they are easier to lay flat, due to the folds from shipping, so if you are able you may want to do that prior to the first use.

Threw it away after a week
Doesn’t clean very well, so I tossed it and went back to a vinyl mat for my beardy. I thought he might like the fabric more, as it is absorbent. But it was too absorbent and didn’t clean up well. On the plus side, it didn’t fall apart when I cleaned it… repeatedly and vigorously. It’s pretty tough. It cut well when I sized it down to fit. The fabric weave is tight enough that Buddy’s nails didn’t hang up or snag. But, would not buy it again. Doesn’t work for me.

It is just fabric with a pattern on it.
It was not what I was expecting as to the description I thought it was a mat made from sand to help with nails of bearded dragons. I may have misread the description prior to ordering. But overall I am not pleased with the product. It is washable so that is a plus.
