Our Story
On a neighborhood walk in Brooklyn in 2006, Bethany Obrecht and her rescue dog chihuahua named Walter – crossed paths with Anna Conway and her pooch – (you guessed it – another rescue chihuahua named Walter!)
With so much in common, the two “Walters” and their Moms became fast friends – and together they crafted their first leashes from marine-grade rope, brass, & waxed canvas, with three-strand, & whipped rope for a unique leash that caught the attention of other dog walkers.
From there, they founded Found My Animal to share their unique & durable rope leashes with other pet owners.

Lasted 1 day before threads came loose
A little darker than the cream color I had wanted, but not a big deal. The terrible part was it lasted one day before the threads started coming loose. It is definitely not worth the price and I wouldnât purchase again just based on quality.

The velvet is soft on my dogâs coat and looks a brilliant turquoise! Easy to put on and adjust. Just what I wanted.

Inaccurate sizing
Collar is beautiful, however the sizing is horrible.On the photo there is a medium size collar next to the large one. Difference between these 2 sizes is quite extreme. At first I was questioning if they messed up and sent me a small collar, but tag says medium.Also, since this is shipped by Amazon, expect to receive wrong product. On the second photo is definitely not this collar.Quite disappointed, as I would expect for $50 collar more accuracy and quality checks.I will pass on this one.

If I could give this trash company zero stars, I would. Worst customer service on the entire planet. The company and product are garbage. Whoever runs it should find other work because they are TERRIBLE at ârunningâ a business. I hope they fail soon so fewer consumers are tricked into buying into their actual garbage.
