This collar saved our sanity ð and honestly made my dog happier!
This collar is the perfect humane (vibrate only) automated anti-bark collar. We have a medium-sized Havapoo who recently discovered the curtains on the window facing the road open up where he can look out into the world as much as he wants.However, he got in the habit of barking loudly at anything he spotted that alarmed him. He’s not been the easiest to train so I knew teaching him “Quiet” or anything like that was going to be difficult. Whenever he started barking, one of us would usually have to get up and close the window curtains and occasionally he wouldn’t settle back down and we’d have to put him in the crate. He loved spending hours by the window watching the world while I did things around the house and it offered great entertainment for him where I wasn’t worried about him getting into anything as well. But as his barking spells got worse, we weren’t sure how long we could deal with it without losing our sanity ð That’s why I’m so glad I found this collar. The second he does a loud bark, it beeps and vibrates and he quiets down immediately! (And he usually stays quiet too after that – unless there’s a dog outside, in which case, he switches to whines/ growls which we’re chill with ð). It doesn’t set off with his quieter woofs either which is fine with us since the little woofs are kinda cute and are good to alert us that the mail is coming or things like that.Notes: the sensitivity levels have worked really well so far. We usually leave it somewhere around 1, 2, or 3. Havenât had issues with the TV or other external sounds setting it off really. It did go off once though when I was holding our dog in my arms and shouted for my husband – Iâm guessing because I was too close to the collar. We just lowered the sensitivity down and itâs extremely rare that anything happensTbh recently our dog simply wearing the collar is enough to deter him from barking. Often we donât even have it turned on and he has no idea and still stay really chill. Heâll growl at things that he wants to bark at sometimes but thatâs about it nowWhich this ended up making it wayyy easier to train him on things like âquietâ – we were able to easily learn some of his triggers. Then when those happened, it was way easier for him to become more quickly composed in response to our command and get a treat!Battery life has been great so far! But we don’t leave it on our dog all the time – usually he just wears it when we’re both home and he wants to sit in front of the window or if my husband is going to play a video game that has monsters/ wolves which our dog would frequently react to seeing or hearing ð He can now happily stare out the window to his heart’s content though and we don’t have to worry about needing to figure out how to stop the barking spell or hold him to try to get him to settle down.Iâd say that 2 weeks is a pretty accurate battery life description. Heâs had this one which he just wears for a few hours each day and itâs probably been at least a month or so since I actually charged it last ð TLDR: Overall great product. Humanely stops my dog from loud barking spells. Doesn’t vibrate for growls, whines, or very quiet woofs. We very rarely had any issues with the collar being set off by anything other than him barking.Our home is peaceful once more – thanks for a great product!Update: had misplaced the charger, but my husband found it! ð Just search for 2DC / 2mm barrel jack cord and it should pop up. You can also search “Charger Replacement for Dogrook Bark Collar” and that should populate the one that is specific to this item. Works well
The first day my dog had this she was terrified. Was running around the house because she couldn’t figure it out. At one point she decided it was coming from the room and would only stay in the living room. Decided we needed to ease her into it and practice some exposure therapy. Next time I tried it on her, I put it on around a specific time I know she always barks at someone coming home and she let out one baby bark and that was it. Took it off after that. Put it on again a few days later at a different time and she didn’t even bark. She learned quickly what the collar will do and now I don’t have to turn it on, just put it on her and no barking.

Battery lasts and noise level is effective
The quality of this collar for deterring barking is great. The collar is easily adjusted and works for our 60 pound lab up to 120 pound Great Pyrenees.The noise pitch changes as the dog continues to bark and the vibration Option works well.The appearance of the collar has held up well after a lot of use and it is very easy to switch the settings on the collar. It charges quickly and the battery lasts surprisingly a very long time. Several days of use.I would recommend this collar for mild behavior modification from excessive barking.It is quite sensitive and if other dogs bark, the collar will noise alert or vibrate depending on setting which is why Iâm not giving it 5 stars .

Kept falling off German Shepard
Iâve had trouble with my German Shepard pups barking. Sheâs a very vocal dog and has separation anxiety. Iâm a stay at home mom right now so I spend all my time taking care of her and my family. The problem is anytime I walk out the door or leave the house she barks, and barks and barks. Her barks are so loud our neighbors upstairs complained to the landlord. There was nothing we could do about her barking when we werenât home we have to go to the store for groceries or walk outside sometimes without her. Her ear piercing barking was becoming a problem. She is a great dog and doesnât really bark at night or when we are at home unless she wants something, is playing, or is excited. She just turned one in December weâve trained her, get on to her when sheâs bad and reward her when she good but nothing was helping her barking. We didnât want her to stop barking all together. We just wanted her not to bark continuously when we are gone or step out for a minute. A shock collar was never going to be an option for us or a muzzle that the landlord and our neighbors said we should get. So I decided to start doing some research and came across this product when it was having a lightning sale. I though whatâs the harm in trying itâs on sale and I can always send it back. When we first got it home it took awhile to charge. We adjusted it and put it on our German Shepard pup. After a few barks itâs started vibrating she didnât know what to think. Each time it vibrated she would lay down pressing her neck into the ground. And she would look around wondering where the beeping would come from. It quieted her down for a bit and we thought this product was it this was our saving grace. She wasnât barking as much and she knew it was the collar eventually causing the vibrations. We would take it off when we were home and werenât worried about her barking and would show her the collar when she started getting carried away. I felt like it was working pretty good in the beginning. Overtime I feel like it stopped working as much. Our smart vocal pup would still bark when it was on and show her unhappiness but alittle more quietly. Now that weâve had it awhile we still put it on her when she starts her barking and sheâll bark though the beeps and vibrations. Iâm hoping with time and maturity she will grow out of her separation anxiety and stop the very loud ear piercing barking. There have been times I wanted to return the collar but wasnât sure if I could or if they would except it back. We still put it on her from time to time and it helps some. We followed all instructions and recommendations for this product. I do recommend trying this collar out for your dog before using a electric collar or muzzle(less cruel). Iâm not sure if we would purchase again. Itâs a nice concept and I like the collar is using vibrations but it didnât work for our German Shepard the way we thought it would. She will still make a fuss and bark when we leave with this collar on and doesnât seem to mind the vibrations and beeps as much. Update: the collar started falling off one day and wouldnât stay on it ended up getting chewed up after falling off multiple times and I have to try to find a new collar for it if I want to use again. Pretty disappointed I feel I waisted my money since it stop latching properly.

My Portuguese water dog was an obsessive barker when left alone and even when taking her for walks. I was worried about complaints from the neighbours, so I purchase this and Iâm happy I did. Itâs not a shocker, and it doesnât hurt her when she barks, so Iâm happy about that. It vibrates and itâs has setting that you can control. I put my settings on 2. The pup no longer barks when left alone or going on walks continuously. Worth the money, and the battery life is great. Donât need to be charge it often. I would definitely recommend this product.

My 5 month Golden Retriever Puppy will bark non stop for 15mins at 2am, 3am and 4am. We were at our wits end, so we decided to try a no shock bark collar. We use it in him for 3 consecutive nights. The barking totally stop after the first night. We didnât use it after 3 nights and there were no more barking from him. This is so effective. He still barks at toys once at most during the day but zero barks at night. It has been 6 weeks since we used it, we donât even wear any collar for him at night now and thereâs no more barking, Really miracle!!!!
