It gets some topical fur, but not any undercoat.
It cleans easily, but as far as performance, I was hoping for something more.
I will say, it works better for animals who are scared of brushes so I gave it a favorable review.

This grooming mitt really gets the hair off. It does not clog like brushes and the hair pull or falls right off the mitt. It is gentle enough for faces and legs. Since it is one-size-fits-most, it can be harder to use if you have smaller hands but overall it is great for dislodging loose hair efficiently.
