Long story
Bought these for the 2 new bird cages we got????? SO FAR I have only got to test them out because they come with NO bulbs. Bought 4 bulbs which came a couple days later. Out of 4 bulbs, one chipped bad and one didn’t work, bad PACKING job. So returning them, giving them a second chance. Waiting for replacement shipment????? But for what I did see these will work great for us.

Not worth the money
We bought this lamp for our snake tank. It worked well for about 2 days, then it stopped. Now it does nothing. No heat, no light , nothing. Total waste of money!

Easy to Accidentally Break
When in actual use, I didn’t have many problems with the light except for perhaps a short wire. You might need to make sure the cable is long enough for where you intend to use the light, or it might not reach. Aside from that, I accidentally broke mine when I screwed in a UVB lightbulb. The ceramic part that the lightbulb screws into was not held in place properly so when the bulb was tightened, the entire ceramic part spun around as well and ended up ripping the wire connecting part, making the product unusable.

I bought this for my bedroom. Sometimes I use it to read but mostly it is honestly a night light. Itâs great because it can clip onto a lot of different places. Very portable.

Don’t trust this lamp!
I bought this lamp to heat a crab enclosure. It worked fine for a week. Or I thought it did, until the temperature probe I have in the tank sounded an alarm that the temperature was dangerously low at 60 degrees. Should be 80 degrees for crabs. Because I was using the lamp with a heat bulb (that emits no light) – there was no way I could tell that the lamp had stopped working. Who knows how many hours, days the lamp just decided it would stop working. It was a busy week so I didn’t have the time to sit and constantly check the temperature readout. I unplugged it and tried to use it in other outlets – nothing.
DO NOT trust this lamp. If you are keeping critters who require heat to live – you will end up with dead critters.

Wish the cable was stronger it doesn’t hold its own weight very well at all. Everything is basic, what you see is exactly what you get, don’t expect any better.
After 2 months the wires in the ballast burned out. Had to strip and solder the wires in as the screw that was fastened into the wire also broke off..
