Quality Collar for a Reasonable Price
I bought this collar for my 3-month-old American Pit Bull puppy, as I knew he was going to outgrow it and I didn’t want to spend a small fortune on a nice looking studded leather collar for him. This fit the bill perfectly. While it was WAY too big for him even on the very last hole, with some slight modification I managed to make this work for him without too much fuss, and still leaving the collar length intact to support future growth.The collar itself is quite thick, is genuine leather and has a nice “feel” to it. The studs/spikes are also a nice grade of stainless steel, not rusting when they get wet like some cheaper versions do. They’re also removable if you find you have to shorten the collar even more than the standard holes allow. The studs are screwed into posts mounted in between the two leather layers of this collar, so you will have to work a bit to remove the extra studs. A pair of pliers will assist in unscrewing the studs and removing the post from the leather.This collar has held up well with A LOT of play between the puppy and our other Pit Bull, multiple exposures to rain, and leashes/leads being attached and removed on a daily basis. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this collar to others. The one thing I do wish is that there was a slightly smaller version of this collar so I wouldn’t have had to go through the headache of modifying it to fit my pretty young puppy, but it was worth it in the end.*If you find this review helpful, please indicate as such, as I’m aspiring to become an Amazon Vine Reviewer. Great colar! Had to buy a larger size
So thankful to the cat distribution system, a stray showed up at my house, and after about 6 months I was able to take him in and get him neutered, and bought him an extra small collar. He is now grown into a fairly large cat, even though he is just over a year old, he’s probably pushing 15 lb. So I moved up to the medium dog size collar. Great quality very happy

is this worth $10? yeah, i guess so. it dies the job and looks cute. but the leather, after 6 months on a very sedentary dog, is peeling and looking rough. not a long term collar at all. youâll have to buy a new one once a year.

This is the 2nd one I have bought for my female cat. We live in a rural area and she is small to medium. This collar has been good protection from the wildlife and the larger pets that are outdoors. The collar is well made and very durable. I love it and I think she does, too.
