Great Collar for off
My Mac has high prey drive so I need to have him under control when we walk in the woods. With this collar he can be off leash which is great as I need to walk with hiking poles due to balance issues. He is on his 2nd Sport Dog Collar in 7 years. I highly recommend this collar

Great collar
Awesome collar. Easy to use and train with. Easy to cut the collar to correct size. The battery holds super well and the support from the company is great.

E-collar
My lab was super jumpy and would bite cause he is a puppy. I was not sure if i wanted this but it works like a charm . Have at lowest number and he responds perfectly. Good price definitely would recommend for a dog who is jumpy or will not listen

All we needed for off-leash and in-home behavior training
What I expected. Cheaper models lack the low end control; you need to be able to set it to the lowest setting the dog will notice. I went to 4 before my dog noticed. At the lowest settings, neither my wife nor I could feel anything. The variations for setting are good, but we wanted to maintain a tone setting as a âclickerâ substitute for proper behavior, so we got a second unit for our second dog instead of programming one collar for two dogs. Range is ample, but only line of sight; it wonât go through walls. Finally, batter life is okay, not great. I charge every other day. And the batteries run down even when not in use, though more slowly. All in all a good enough product that we bought the second one for our other dog, and do not anticipate ever needing anything else for off-leash control. One more thing: READ THE MANUAL! There is a lot of good advice in there for using this tool correctly as part of a coherent training and obedience program for your dog.

Excellent ecollar
Purchased for use with my lab on the farm and while hiking or riding horses, we have many acres for him to explore and roam. As he is still a pup, having the ability to recall him from a far distance lets him explore and have fun but also not be able to ignore commands. Included instructions and usage guide helped me set the remote to the setting I wanted, there are several modes but I use the tone/vibrate mode as primary. I have zapped him but only up to a 1 continuous while chasing cats, that little bit is just enough for him to be reminded to listen and follow. He knew his commands very well on and off leash when in close proximity to me but when he gets the okay to go on ahead while on the trail, the ecollar is a great tool for both of our securities to be able to reinforce the commands from afar. This collar is not a replacement for taking the time on a leash to learn commands and build a relationship with your dog. The collar is a biothane collar with unit on, neither chafes my dog, we use it daily, his regular fit hole shows no sign of wear. Both unit and remote are rechargeable, the cord is a 2 tail charger which is fabulous, both items can charge at the same time. Remote has an included lanyard, I have it tied up and on a carabiner clipped to my dog bag for ease of use while riding horses. Overall I do recommend making the investment. I purchased this wetland model over others because I have a lab and he gets in water at every chance, I figure every little bit of waterproof ability is worth it.

Great Value
I spend time looking at collar and they can get very expensive. I use mostly for training so long range was unnecessary. Took awhile to adjust settings to vibrate just need to follow directions carefully, but once set up, no complaints.

Good value. Effective.
I use this to train my young lab. I bought a cheaper unit at first that worked when she was younger. But I found it was not effective as she got bigger to being a year old. This was my next choice for the price and reviews. Iâm very happy with it. It does have a beep setting that certainly gets her attention. I use Settings three or four most of the time. Even me showing it to her let her know to correct her behavior.

Didnât work out of the box
I was looking forward to receiving this product – Iâve used sport collars before to train to boundaries instead of using inground fencing and my dog is old/big enough to start that training. Thought Iâd save a few $ with Amazonâs âused like newâ deal that claimed product was unused.Um yeah the product was unused because right out of the box it didnât work. It would not charge. You can see in the picture itâs plugged in and no indicator light. I tried different outlets. I tried turning the handheld on and off. Nothing. I suspect the charging device was bad and not the collar or remote⦠whatâs the likelihood that neither the collar nor remote would work/charge? Much lower than the charger/plugs not working. Amazon- if youâre going to claim youâve reconditioned a product maybe someone should determine if the product works and not judge an object based solely on good packaging. Then Amazon wanted to charge me to pick up the item. Nope. Why should I pay Amazon with my time and money when Amazon caused the inconvenience by selling me a product they should have known was defective? Customer service did resolve the issue to my satisfaction but overall the entire experience was a disappointment. The collar is plastic and not very flexible; while it has holes for necks of all sizes this would be best used on a larger dog. I wouldâve probably preferred a different collar material.
