Scratch pads that you put on the end of furniture
I love these , I put them on the end of my Couches and on the ends of some wood and they work very well. My cats love them they scratch item and itâs really good for them. This is one of the best products I got. Thank you Gloria McKenna.

No Template Included, mounting holes uneven
We have used a different cat scratch pad that is frame mounted for years. I could not find it anymore so I gave this a try. If you are not handy, look elsewhere. Since the scratcher is principally designed to be used on corners, you will need to set two mounting screws into the surface of the location that you are selecting. Since no template is included, you will need to create your own template or use good measuring techniques. This is exacerbated by the fact that the mounting holes are not drilled evenly. The metal mounting clip for the scratchers is very thin and that may prove problematic with larger, stronger felines. So, avoid using this with any large cats, like tigers or lions orâ¦wait this isnât Oz. It is a good idea that could use refinements. Maybe if the manufacturer creates a decent template that could improve the way it works and implement quality controls to ensure evenly spaced mounting holes this could be a quality item.

You might need to be inventive when installing them as they have some weird folds, but they do the job. ORE-DRILL your holes before you screw them down or you’ll hate yourself.

Used for couch and I love it!
So I got a free couch a little while ago that had some damage from the previous owners cats, and then my cats went and attacked the same spots! So it was looking pretty rough on all the edges from years of being clawed at! It was to the point you could see the foam interior of the couch being pulled out. I wanted to make it look better since it is now a playroom but also still cat friendly too so they don’t lose their space either and found these! I know they’re supposed to be for walls but I knew I could make them look good on the couch! I had to use long wood screws so it would hold to the base of the couch and had to cut the one by the chais so it fits but I absolutely love it!! Now it’s safer for kids since there’s not small pieces of foam all around it and I can finally take those blankets off and have it look really nice! My cats love it, and so do I!!!
