Works great
Easy to install, works great. Just metal on bottom of door slides & sometimes stops door from working correctly so we had to tape ends to stop bars on both doors from sliding

Well Engineered Pet Door
This is an awesome (and awesomely designed) pet door from PETCOMING.Our house is covered in Hardie Plank siding so locations for a pet door in front are extremely limited. So since we use the garage as a quasi-mudroom, we decided to install it on the left garage door (meaning we paid a local handiman to install it ð). We only use that side for storage and the electric door opener has been unlpugged. He did shore up the frame since the pet door is a little taller than one garage door panel. It only took our girl a few times to get the hang of it and it works perfectly. There are 2 great accessories included with the door. One is the security panel that can be put in place at night to prevent any nocturnal visitors (we have some raccoons and even some coyotes in the area). The second are the 2 Pet Fire Rescue stickers included to alert firefighters that there may be a pet in the home. These are really excellent additions.

Double dog door!
In my bi-level home, I have a door through my laundry room that my dogs freely go in and out of. My laundry room is so cold and drafty because of this, and we often keep the door to our downstairs playroom/family room/informal living room closed because itâs so cold. A lot of heat was being used to heat the house and battle the drafts and open and closed doors. My husband had the idea of getting a second dog door for the interior door leading to the laundry room dog door. Genius! Door ordered immediately.Install: Dog door arrived Saturday (yesterday) and we installed it immediately.Tools used were: a hand saw, level, drill, tape (to hold the cutout plans) and a pencil. My husband mapped out the door with the cutout plan and began sawing and after following all steps, the dog Door was installed within an hour. You need to be a little handy or willing to put in effort to learn to install. An hour was our total time from unboxing to throwing remaining materials and Trash away.Quality:This dog door is made of plastic and vinyl. Itâs an all weather kind of material and is easy to work with. The screws were made of plastic as well. So waterproof is a safe word. It is sturdy though. On a metal exterior door, you may want to opt for metal framing and all weather caulking to avoid cracking over time. If your zone allows for plastic without rotting or cracking due to weather elements, you could definitely use this doggy door. The double flaps with magnetic reseal are amazing at keeping the door flaps in place.Usability:It took my 2 dogs a full day to get used to the new dog door, but they are used to using one daily. With some treats and encouragement, they are used to the new addition and we are loving being back in our fun room without being freezing cold.

Great for our indoor room needs
Perfect for our needs. We chose this for an interior laundry room door for our cats.PROS: we love the idea of being able to utilize our laundry as also the cat box room. The idea that should I need to close off the door for any reason (eg: we recently kept the cats in laundry room when furniture was being delivered) we can.Was easy to install, a bit larger for our cats, but it works well and my one cat who likes to keep her tail up when walking she didnât even have to lower it to get in. We both agreed that it would also be great for smaller dogs to go in/outside with ease and the closing mechanism to keep other critters out (or pet in) is definitely a plusCONS: none for us!OVERALL: we loved it, seals well, built well (nice plastic frame for our indoor use) and easy to install.

Could be better aesthetically, otherwise no issues
This was easy enough to install, and the magnetic door works well. The magnets are strong enough to keep the door closed, but our cats are easily able to push through after some practice. We have this in our bathroom door, but I like that it comes with a blocking board so if you do have it installed in an outer door, you can slide the blocking board in and effectively close the cat door off (to prevent anything from going in or out overnight, on vacation, etc). One complaint is how far the plastic screws stick out the opposite side. There are no caps or covers, and the tops stick out a good quarter inch (see picture) and are sharp, which is a hazard for both animal and people. We ended up using a multi tool to cut them flush, but I wish there were caps or something just for aesthetic purposes as well as safety. There’s no caps/covers for either side, so you just have the holes, which is not the best look.
