Our little guy had a situation with another kitty that landed him one of those ridiculous cones from the vet. As our pprox 2yr old Bombay is more on the petite side, he struggled to do just about anything from walking to eating to getting in and out of the litter box with the plastic cone of shame around his neck. But then, along came Amazon for the win, again! My kids and I saw this, and I could not resist! I’ll admit, our kitty wasn’t thrilled with it initially, but he was much more capable of moving around with this donut on his neck as it is similar to a pillow us humans use on airplanes and road trips. It’s not too stiff, and just squisy enough that he can navigate essential areas in his everyday adventures. His demeaor was much better in the donut “cone” so i am even more thrilled with this purchase! It’s not too tight on the neck and the collar is adjustable like sweatpants, so a chunkier cat could benefit from this item as well. It’s adorable and functional, and i’m pretty sure a lot less expensive than that plastic monstrosity from the vet, so if you’re on the fence, just give it a shot. You can always get a plastic one from the vet if you change your mind!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…. SHE LOVES IT!!!
My older kitty developed a hot spot above her eye, and the vet recommended a “collar of shame” for her to wear as she keeps thumping the wound with her back feet. I hated the thought of putting a plastic collar on her, and also she is very small so was not sure it would even stay on. I found this collar, and ordered it. OH MY GOODNESS!! It was so easy to put on and she LOVES it! She eats fine in it, uses the litter box fine and sleeps in it. It has been a full two days and she has not tried to get it off. She likes laying on it like a pillow. She is just as comfy as could be, and in just the two days she has been wearing it, the wound is healing over nicely. It was so easy to adjust, is not tight at all but I recommend tucking the loose cord ends inside the collar so they do not hang out. From all the other kitties out there, thank you for this wonderful, kitty-kind invention…. we LOVE IT!!!

Comfortable (and cute) way to get through recovery!
Super cute and made it so much more comfortable for my cat to get through the last half of her spay recovery.The cone they provide at the vet was getting in the way of her doing everything and was clearly frustrating her, but this pillow made it easier for her to get around, eat, sleep, and use the litter box. She slept so much better in it, too.Plus this was way more effective and lot harder for her to get off. She slipped out of the regular cone so many times, because she’s so small, I was forced to find an alternative, but this is a great one! The smallest size fit my 5.5 lb kitten very well, it wasn’t too loose or too tight.Now that she’s fully recovered and it’s off, she likes to play with it, so it’ll get even more use than intended.

A cute, cozy, affordable alternative to traditional E-collar
I love this, and so did my kitty. Much better though not quite as effective as thr traditional plastic cone, my kitty regained his line of sight and perception, this also offered a pillow while he napped, looked suoer cute, and cleaned up extremely well. Easy to put on and take off. Worth it!

Works great but gets messy
Got as a replacement for the standard e-collar my cat couldnt eat or drink with it after surgery. Works good in preventing licking and chewing but is absorbent and gets gross quick.

This was exactly what I needed for my cat. He was having skin issues and pulling his hair out and kept scratching leaving scabs all over. This stopped him from scratching and hurting himself. Yet he was still able to walk, sleep, eat and drink and use the litter box. I am a stay at home mom so I did try to take it off when he used the litter box because he couldnât cover his poop well with this on. But he can still use the litter box which is important. But now I can give him his medicine easily by myself. Instead of my husband helping. My cat hates him. But with this cone pillow on my cat I can very easily give him his medicine myself. Which is best for my cat and myself. Itâs so easy that my cat isnât even mad at me after anymore. This does have like a hoodie string to tighten it around the neck. It is adjustable. My cat is wear is wearing the medium size and in the picture my cat weighs 9.5 lbs. the different colors and patterns to chose from are so cute. I did wash it once and held up perfectly in the wash and dryer. It does look a little big on my cat but I assure you if it was any smaller it wouldnât work on my cat at all. It is very light weight so no worries about it being heavy on the cats neck. I would recommend for everyone.
