Product Description
Attention Before Purchase: Our glass dog door has a fixed – swing mechanism. If it’s installed on the left side of the glass door, it can only open inward. If installed on the right side, it can only open outward. This is non – adjustable because of the design structure. Also, note that installation demands using a drill to bore holes in the door frame.
Openable Design: Our dog door for sliding glass doors opens inward to maximize limited space, making it easy for people to move items in and out of the backyard. Additionally, we’ve filed for a patent.
Adjustable Height: The medium doggie door for the sliding door frame adjusts from 91-7/16″ to 96″ in height, with a glass door width of 12.8″. This fits most villa and patio sliding glass doors. To ensure the correct height, measure from the top track to the inner bottom track of your aluminum sliding door frame.
Perfect for Medium Pets: Our sliding glass door pet door features a semi – transparent flap that measures 8.1” wide by 12.3” high. This size provides a clear view and easy passage for pets weighing up to 40 pounds. Additionally, it comes with a safety lock, enhancing home security while allowing you to control your pet’s access.
Energy Efficient & Weatherproof: Our medium doggie door for sliding doors is crafted with a robust aluminum frame, a magnetic – seal flap, windproof strips, and a convenient slide – in closure panel. This combination is expertly designed to stand up to harsh weather conditions, ensuring your home remains cozy, secure, and energy.

Customers say
Customers find the pet door easy to install and appreciate its functionality, design, and insulation quality. However, the build quality receives mixed feedback, with some saying it’s decently built while others report the frame around the opening cracking quickly. Moreover, the door opening mechanism and latch quality are mixed aspects – while customers can open it when needed, the latch is not usable, and the flap is not secured well. Additionally, opinions on value for money are divided, with some considering it a great value while others say it’s not worth the money.

Fits perfectly!
So glad we were able of finally give our dog the independence she’s bin asking for when we are gone all day. Installation took 2 people (just to be safe & keep things straight) but was easy. Found the video on YouTube and it was nice to be able to stop and replay. It took some coaxing for our 50# put bull to go through it but she finally did and now there are less squirrels running around the backyard. I love that the door swings out, we can lock the window and it’s so sturdy. I added more foam tape but it did come with a lot! The instruction booklet could have articulated a few things better like where the lock goes (order of installing it) but the video cleared that up. Great price point!

Works well, would recommend
This door does exactly what I needed it to do which is provide a doggie door but still open up the full width of my door when needed. I have a fairly narrow patio door and most inserts wouldn’t even allow me to get in and out from the remaining opening, so I needed one that hinges. I only found one other type of door like this and it wouldn’t have fit my door. After installing I did have some significant gaps because my house is older and there are no right angles in the house. Therefore the top of the door was flush and the bottom had about a half inch gap between it and the sliding glass door. When I lock the door that gap is minimized because I can lift up on my sliding glass door and get it to fit, then I latch it. But I did do a lot of extra weatherproofing to ensure it’s as energy efficient as possible. The reality is this door is not energy efficient, but neither is any doggie door. My only real design complaint about it is there is no way to hold the door closed once you go out the door, meaning you can only completely close it from the inside. That’s because the only lock on the door is on the inside and there’s no latch between the sliding door and the dog door, and there’s not any way to even pull it shut behind you once you go out, much less latch it. I saw some other complaints in reviews about the screens not closing flush against the door. But the reality is you can’t expect that if you’re putting a dog door on the same track as your glass door. All in all I’m happy with this product and it works better for me than any other insert would have and most of the issues with it are a result of the lack of uniformity in my door opening, not the product itself. Installation was pretty straightforward with only small complaints about the instructions which I was able to figure out on my own.

This is the dog door you want!
This dog door was super easy to install! I love the functionality of it! I hated losing that space to walk in and out of my sliding glass door but with this door I didnât have to! Itâs great quality for its price. It fits perfectly because of its ability to stretch and shrink down. I liked the lock on it but it did break fairly easily considering it was my toddler that broke it by trying to open it while it was locked. The top and bottom lock are much better quality. The tape that comes with it helps insulate from the outside weather where there are little gaps. The door itself has good insulation. I love the durability of the door cover.

Design flaws
I loved the idea of being able to open the door for full access. Iâve had this door for about 5 months and feel I can provide a pretty decent review on how itâs functioned for me.The big issues that reduce stars for me:1. No clear instructions were given for install. I had to find the video of installation which has no steps or audio so you just have to follow along hoping youâre interpreting the steps correctly, lots of rewinding each section. Pretty time consuming but I managed.2. The door only hinges one way – this is a BIG DEAL. Because my slider opens from the right this doggy door opens outward. Which means when I swing the doggy door out Iâve lost all functionality of my screen door latching to the frame (the doggy door blocks it). If I want to keep the slider open and allow fresh air my screen just has to rest on the doggy door and any wind causes the door to swing, so I have to brace it. Iâve made it work. For a more permanent solution I may try removing the hinges and drilling them to the other side so it swings inside. Idk if Iâll have this long enough to make it worth it.. leading me to my final point.3. The flap is not secured well. In less than 5 months the plastic piece that hooks the flap has broken in half, leave only 2 of the 4 screws holding it on (lost a 3rd screw while making this review). I reached out about a month ago about replacement, with no response. If the flap wonât last half a year and I canât replace it, I canât vouch for this item. This is a great concept, I was so excited about it for summer time! The design definitely needs some work. Disappointed.

THE BEST invention of a doggy door
This is THE BEST invention of a doggy door Iâve ever had. Iâve been through plenty doggy doors in my doggy mom years. I really like that I can open up the door instead of having to squeeze into the small gap thats left once the doggy door is installed. It also latches and locks. I always had to get a piece of wood and stick it in the bottom of the door frame to keep intruders out, but this doggy door has a lock latch and itâs very secure. I am overall very very pleased with my purchase and love the design and invention with this doggy door. A MUST BUYÂ

Low quality installation hardware
Overall this has been a greatly disappointing experience, for brevity I will explain via pros and cons list below.Pros:Aesthetically pleasingFulfills dog door functionAppropriately sized as describedCons:Low Quality installation hardware – Multiple screws meltedPermanent installation – installing this will irreparably damage your existing doorPoor security – the frame and door are so flimsy that they are no more secure than an interior hollow door.Overall it will technically work but even a sheet of plywood with a dog door would have been vastly more appealing with the benefit of hindsight.
