Make your dog mad ! It’s worth it !
I ordered two of these because my dog would not stay out of the litter boxes. We have two boxes in two separate rooms of the house. She was constantly going from one to the other. I loved that these were stick on and not requiring tools and holes in the wall or door. This strap lock fit great, was easy to install, doesn’t effect door functionality and is a great price. I recommended this to three other people who are having the same problem I was with my dog. She is so mad at me now. Haha

I bought this to keep my baby out of the room that had litter boxes while still allowing my cats access. It’s been 5 years now and out lasted the first baby, the second and now a dog. It’s easy to use and much more cost effective than other methods. Highly recommend.

Keeps Dogs Out But Does Not Hold Door Open
This arrived quickly and is exactly as pictured. The installation is easy and fool proof. I am returning this item because it does not work for my needs.Pros: Easy to install. Sturdy. Keeps door opening narrow for dogs to not enter room and cat can get through.Cons: Does not keep door open once the animal/cat is inside the room. I installed these for my office and my daughter’s room so her cat can come in to the rooms without the dogs bothering her but she could also leave the room to use her litterbox. If the dogs “boop” the door to attempt to get in it recoils and pushed the door closed. Also, if the cat presses on the door from inside the room it closes the door.If you are looking for a product to only narrow the door opening – this will work nicely. If you need a product to narrow the opening AND keep the door open to that width – this will not work for you.

Nach ein paar Problemen mit dem Versand (hier reagierte Amazon aber nach dem Anruf prompt und wir bekamen den Door Buddy zwei Tage später geliefert) haben wir unseren Door Buddy installiert und ich muss sagen, es ist genau das, was wir brauchten. Wir benötigen den Door Buddy, um unsere Insektenschutztür zum Garten so zu sichern, dass unsere (reinen Haus-) Katzen nicht in den Garten kommen. Die Türe hat zwar einen Magneten, der sie zuhält, kann aber von gewitzten Vierbeinern an einer bestimmten Stelle aufgedrückt werden oder geht auch auf, wenn sie im Spiel dagegen donnern. Daher musste ich mir etwas einfallen lassen, um die Türe zu sichern. Der Door Buddy hilft dabei enorm. Ich habe zwei davon in der Mitte und unten installiert und nun hält die Türe auch, wenn jemand dagegen drückt, denn sie schnappt sofort in den Magnet zurück, wenn sie aufgemacht wird. Der Door Buddy ist gut durchdacht. Man kann ihn verstellen und man befestigt ihn ähnlich, wie die Tesa Power Strips – das heiÃt nämlich auch, dass man ihn wieder ablösen kann. Es sind zwei extra Strips dabei, so dass man die Position auch wieder verändern kann. Das Klebeband hält meiner Meinung nach wirklich gut, so wie halt Power Strips auch. Ich gebe gerne 5 Sterne für das Produkt.

I have a 9 month old puppy who hasn’t yet learnt recall and has managed to escape the house and run off. This has worked perfectly to keep the main lounge doors closed for when I have the front door open. I was so impressed that I bought another one for the back patio doors.
