Bertha the Mama Bear and her two playful cubs have become familiar visitors to a certain yard, often stopping by to explore. Homeowner Amy has grown used to seeing the furry family, but one day, she was surprised to spot several bears—including cubs—peering into her garden. Wanting to give them something fun to do, she decided to get creative.

Amy purchased a hammock and set it up in her yard, hoping the bears might enjoy it. The idea worked perfectly. Over time, Bertha and her cubs began using the hammock in their own special way, turning it into their personal play spot. Whether swaying gently, climbing over it, or tumbling together nearby, the little family seemed to delight in their new “backyard toy.”
Amy says the hammock is a gift they truly deserve, especially given how much joy they bring to her when they visit. Watching the cubs explore, wrestle, and bounce around has been an adorable experience—and a rare chance to see wildlife at play so close to home.
