The ‘Members Only’ Fort in my aquarium
Neat little corner hideout piece! Mine has become The ‘Members Only’ Fort in my aquarium for my smaller fish. They hang out in there, they swim in and out, it is like their little get-away when the other fish get on their nerves. It did take them a while to get use to it and figure it out, but once they figured it out, they really began using it

Aquarium corner cave
Very good quality product. Good size for shrimp, small cat fishes and other smaller fishes. This allows smaller fish and shrimp to have a safe place to retrieve from other larger fish. Highly recommend for small to medium size tanks.

Good product – I just improperly measured – Poss long fish hazard.
As a product, it is a solid item. If smaller fish than mine were to use it, it would have worked out. I somehow did not understand correctly its dimensions. That said, if you have longer fish (e.g., plecos, stick cats/farlowelas ), be cautious. Depending upon their size, the sharp edges and 90-degree turns can be difficult to hazardous to them (they are not intelligent enough to leave well enough alone until they are already injured).

Shocked that my fish and shrimp like this so much
My kids were insistent that our fish receive a christmas present like everyone else in the family this past year. I bought this on a whim since we already had plenty of fish food and plants. I am shocked to report that all of the fishes and our two shrimp use this thing every day. Everytime I look at the tank, somone is in the tunnel or sitting on top of the tunnel. I plan to buy another one.

Put some substrate in it
Put some gravel/substrate on the cave floor and it will entice the fish better. Within 24 hours I saw my fish in there 3 times with the substrate but the other exact cave without had no visits. They use the caves but not all the time although I see them in one at least once a day. The fish that use the caves are the Comets and the Coryâs have used it but Ininly have three types of fish in there as it is a newer tank. I hope this helps.

Schade
