Perfect Indoor Camera for Peace of Mind
I recently purchased the NoahTec Indoor Camera, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The 1080P video quality is crystal clear, making it easy to keep an eye on my pets and home while I’m away. Setting it up was a breeze, and the phone app is super intuitive to use.
The AI motion detection is a game-changerâit sends accurate alerts without any false alarms, which is a big plus. The 2-way talk feature works flawlessly, allowing me to communicate with my pets (and calm them down when needed). The night vision is impressive too, providing clear images even in complete darkness. There is no lag in video.
Another great feature is the built-in siren, which adds an extra layer of security. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with Alexa, making it easy to control with voice commands.
Overall, this camera offers excellent value for the price. Whether youâre using it as a baby monitor, pet camera, or general home security device, itâs reliable and packed with features. Highly recommend!

Perfect? No. Awesome? YES!
For a PTZ camera for under $20, I wasn’t expecting much from this camera. I bought it to monitor my cats’ eating habits while I am away overnight. It does what I need and does it quite well for something that costs less than a McMeal at a fast food restaurant. Compared to a $150 fixed position camera I have outside this thing is hands down better in all aspects when considering picture quality and night vision capabilities.
Now for some boring but hopefully helpful tech tips from my experience. From reading other reviews, I noticed a few recurring issues. The camera installation with the Eseecloud app was amazingly quick and painless and the camera was up and initially working in seconds compared to trying to get the aforementioned camera working which required days of contacting support and sending and resending emails before a live tech actually signed on to my computer and set it up for me. I also recently purchased a pet feeder with camera for my girlfriend that required about the same amount of time and frustration to get it working.
Next, I went to install the micro SD card. when I tried to save a screenshot, it wouldn’t save anything to the card. The app had the option to format the card so I tried that. Suddenly, the app said the card was not functioning. at that point, especially after reading other reviews, I was ready to send it back to Amazon. Instead, I paused and sent a support request through the app. But not being one to wait for help, I decided to try to ruin it on my own. I simply unplugged or reset the camera through the app, (been a few weeks so my memory is foggy) and the card was available again and it was saving motion alerts to the card. Awesome!
Next, I tried to find the perfect spot to mount it, but as many people have pointed out, the power cord is extremely short. Luckily, it still uses the micro USB that all my tech has quit using so I had a longer cord that was just sitting around useless. Even if you don’t have one they are extremely cheap. I plugged it in to the camera and opened the app once more and got an error message saying the camera was offline. Confusing, because it had done its initial sweep and the lights were lit. again….I was heading to the UPS store. I figured I would try the resetting the camera trick since it worked before and Voila, it worked! I feel sorry for the people that experienced these same issues and gave up too soon. a little perseverance goes a long ways.
Now a bit about the motion sensing. This camera captures motion fine and triggers an alert saving a thumbnail of the incident. In the app, when you review the alerts, it will play a 10 second clip with the option to watch the full video. Amazingly easy to review alerts. One review complained about the playback being slow. I have had an issue where the playback wouldn’t start at all, but closing the app and reopening it solved the problem. Compared to the pet feeder camera I talked about before, sometimes when an alert is triggered you get a thumbnail which requires you to remember the time it happened and search through the video timeline only to find a short clip of my cat’s tail leaving the picture. Since she is only using that to portion out dry food and to try to see which of her cats are eating when, it serves the purpose. Back to this camera…the motion tracking seemed to work fine tracking me but wouldn’t track my cat. Not a deal breaker, but maybe future updates will address this. Granted, I am using it in a very cluttered environment and more than likely, I just need to experiment with the app as the settings are really quite customizable.
Support is about what you would expect. They seem to really want to help but things get lost in translation. Not really a problem because I never really needed to contact them in the first place.
I am extremely pleased with this inexpensive pet cam. I trust it to guard my priceless Picassos, Lol but maybe if you are worried about using it as a primary security camera for guarding your business, you should spend more than $20 and still probably have to deal with the same issues. I personally will be buying more of these. Even though they say for inside use only, for less than $20 I am going to try to mount one outside under the eaves of my roof with a dab of silicone around the power port where it is shielded from the rain. Not sure if it will work but worth a try to get rid of the fixed dinosaur I have now.
If you are worried about getting hacked, try updating your modem, wifi, or better yet, get rid of your smart tv, your cell phone, and delete all your games or just get rid of the internet all together, but not before liking or disliking my review, if you bother to read it at all. 🙂 Trust me, everything you do or say is being watched, but if you watch me, you will just see an old guy walking around in bacon striped tidy whiteys.
I hope this helps or at least makes you smile. Have a wonderful day if you can.

Cheap but good quality camera
This NoahTec Indoor Camera surprisingly is of better quality than I expected. Took me a little time to set it up but worked right away (make sure to have a micro SD card for use, which is not included).
The camera captured video and sound just fine. But will say that in low lighting it isn’t as good. It did not give me a notification when my dog entered the kitchen area (where I have this camera set up), even though I can see here through the playback on a few different occasions.
I like that you can move the camera around though but do wish the cord provided was significantly longer.
But it is nice that I can view my dog if she is near the kitchen but she can also hear my call her if I try to speak to her through the app on my phone.
Overall, this is pretty good camera that is very affordable and would recommend it if you are looking for something to keep taps on your pet but without costing a fortune. This camera definitely is decent enough to do the job.
