Good starter puzzle for small dogs
My vet recommended puzzles to ease anxiety for my dog when we all leave the house. Knowing that my lap dog was pretty intelligent but not sure over her puzzle skills I started with this basic level 1 puzzle to get her used to them. It took her less than 30 seconds to get all of her treats out of this puzzle. However, it definitely sparked her interest in doing them. I did get higher levels of puzzles to keep her occupied longer, and less anxious while we are out, and now she can hear me getting a puzzle ready and then racing to find me. Instead of focusing on us leaving her behind she is definitely all about getting her treats. I have a camera so I also know that once she thinks she is finished she will leave it behind but will come back to it again to make sure she has got all the treats and any treat tidbits out of it. This particular puzzle is very durable and would be good for senior dogs, smaller dogs or dogs not so much interested in working too hard to get a treat. As a level 1 it also introduces them to moving things with their muzzle or paw. Easy to clean by spraying out with water if you choose to use wet food.

Good quality but too easy
Great quality and my dog loves it but she figured it out in a couple minutes. I was hoping it would keep her busy when Iâm at work but itâs too simple.

We both love this item
My cat LOVES it. With a indoor cat and errands to run, it gives him something to stay entertained with. It’s a safe toy, and he likes to find his dry food in the compartments. No assembly required. A good item, looks like a dog owner can use it too. I recommend this item

Treats get stuck in the tracks
Nice puzzle toy with sliding covers that move very easily. Only issue is that treats get stuck in the covers tracks. This jams up the covers and frustrates our cat. Probably okay for larger treats, but the standard size cat treats all get stuck. Since our cat really seems to enjoy digging the treats out of the cups, we just used hot glue (non toxic) to fill the open tracks. This means the covers cannot move anymore, but the treats no longer get stuck and our kitty is happy to dig them out of the exposed cups. Only 3 stars because this feels like a design flaw that could be easily remedied by not having the open track (add a back so treats don’t fall through).

Dogs may catch on quickly to puzzle
I have a 10 week old border collie Australian Shepard mix heâs a working breed so a good food puzzle toy like this helps him eat slower and helps work his brain to keep him stimulated, he caught on quickly sometimes he misses a few which is good because that keeps his brain working. This toy/ feeder is great for dogs who get bored easily and eat to fast. I would highly recommend

Easy and fun!
This puzzle is perfect for my puppy! She has struggled with more difficult puzzles but she figured this one out easily. Hoping it will be a good distraction to be used for separation anxiety. Looks like it will hold up well!
