She likes it so much I hardly see her anymore lol
At first I didn’t think this would be big enough for my 6 month old northern blue tongue skink. I figured, ehhh… why not give it a shot anyways.
I put plenty of substrate around it so that it propped it up enough for my skink to burrow underneath to get inside as the little opening seemed small for her. I put plenty of substrate on top of it too, for cosmetic purposes.
Well… now I’m kicking myself because my skink loves it so much I never see her. ðð I have kept it on the cooler side of the tank. She seems to love hiding with her face out just enough to where she can see out but you can’t see her body. I’m not sure how she fits, but she’s making it work! 24.7 ð¬ð¬ð¬
My skink rates it 10/10 and I recommend you try it out!

My baby ball python LOVES this hide!
My new baby ball python was shipped to me a few days ago, breeder told me he was a super great eater but he ended up ignoring the mouse I tried to offer him his first night here. I had ordered this hide a day or two before I got him, once it came in and I added it to his tank (in a spot above his under tank heater that he was frequenting) he found it and happily curled up inside! Left him alone for a day with his new hide, and the next day I offered him a thawed mouse outside the entrance to his hide and he IMMEDIATELY snatched it up in .2 secs lol! Heâs 2 months old right now, weighs around 70-80grams and the small size was PERFECT for him! With him thereâs still some extra room inside for now, so I know he can grow into it for a bit before Iâll have to get him a bigger one. HIGHLY recommend for anybody looking for a reptile/snake hide, within a day of using it my new baby felt comfortable and safe enough to chow down!
Tip-wedge this hide in the corner of your tank between one wall and another decoration like the piece of cork bark round in my video, with at least 2 sides touching the tank walls, and make sure itâs elevated an inch or so above the ground, that way you can observe your pet inside of its hide easily without having to open their tank or disturb them! Especially fun to be able to watch them eat inside their hides! ð

Helped Western/plains hognose snake shed
I got the small version with the sink basin after my male hognose snake had some stuck shed. I put this in when he starts showing signs of shedding, and his two subsequent sheds have been completely successful without any other help on my end.
The cover for the clay basin is a bit difficult to install and remove, so I leave it partially closed at angle. This still keeps the water from evaporating too quickly.

I never get to see my Gecko anymore lol
So I have a pretty huge enclosure for my Lepard Gecko, it’s even bigger than what is in my picture. I have multiple hides, and I bought this hide in response for him having a hard time shedding. Which suggests to me he has an issue with not enough humidity. Even though I have two water bowls on both the hot and cold side. However, ever since I bought this and keep the clay pot filled with water, he will never leave until late at night time to eat the worms I put out for him. He used to chill on that log on the right a lot. He constantly lives inside this hide now, and anytime I can catch him outside of it I will spray the moss inside with water in addition to the clay pot. But he loves this thing too much lol. Excellent product, and haven’t seen any shed issues since I got it.

CAUTION!!!
Nice hide for the price, easy to clean etc.. All of mine arrived with a very sharp tip in the center of the hide roof which could cause a potential injury for animals that may rub against it, ex: snakes. Easy fix I just filed it down but did want to caution others to do the same.
Great show –
