Professional Quality Testing Kit: The AAwipes Aquarium test kit (50 strips) is developed by experts for fish enthusiasts. It offers 8-in-1 testing capabilities, made with high-quality fiber paper and non-bleeding colors. The kit measures key parameters like Free Chlorine, Nitrate, Nitrite, Hardness, Carbonate, Total Alkalinity, pH and Ammonia nitrogen. By identifying potential issues, our fish tank testing kit helps prevent hidden water problems and ensures the safety and well-being of your fish.
Versatile Use for Freshwater and Ponds: This aquarium water test kit is versatile and suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments. It can be used in various aquariums, fish tanks, ponds, pools, and shrimp tanks, making it easy to monitor water quality and ensure your filter functions properly. Experts recommend testing your aquarium water at least twice a week to maintain optimal water quality.
Fast and Accurate Results: Get accurate results in minutes with just 3 steps: 1) Dip the test strip into water for 2 seconds for pads 1-7; dip pad 8 (Ammonia nitrogen) separately for 5 seconds. 2) Remove the strip without shaking off excess water. Hold horizontally for 30 seconds for pads 1-7, wait 180 seconds to read Pad 8 (Ammonia nitrogen). 3) Compare the colors to the chart for up to 99% accuracy and take necessary action.
Extended Shelf Life: The test strips are packaged in a well-sealed bottle to ensure they remain effective over time. This protects the strips from moisture and other environmental factors, ensuring you have reliable testing materials on hand when needed.
Convenient Use: With this kit, you can test your aquarium water at home without the need to send samples to a lab, saving you both time and money. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your aquarium water is balanced and safe without the stress or extra expense.

Amazing.
Best thing to have for quick reference. This strip helped me save one of my bettas. They are so easy to use. You can see the results fast. The bottle comes with a lot of strips, so you get good bang for your buck. They last a long time and the colors are very clear. Safe to use in any tank.

Perfect
Itâs hard to find strips that also test for ammonia, I usually have to buys those separately so I have happy to see that this is a true all in one tester. Easy to use and works great

Easy to read but ammonia level doesn’t work
I tested my aquarium at the beginning and a week later and the results seem pretty accurate and are easy to read, however you have to be careful because sometimes the liquid between two patches can connect and the results of one test can alter the other.Important: do not buy this product thinking of testing ammonia, it does not work. I tried different sources of ammonia and the patch always remained white. After all I think it is a good option for small or low cost tanks.

Price and value are one in the same.
Exactly what I was looking for! Easy to read, but I wish it had recommended actions for certain conditions

Killed my fish by giving inaccurate results!
These test strips give false results and kept killing all of my fish, shrimp, and snails! I used them for months, with them telling me everything in my water was at good levels. I tried so many things trying to figure out why my animals in the tank kept dying. Well, turns out these test strips were giving completely incorrect results for the quality of my tank water! So I had no idea that several values needed to be adjusted for my animals. After I started to suspect that the test strips might not be accurate, I decided to experiment a bit. Two examples of very clearly incorrect results I got from these experiments: The strips said there was no chlorine in my unfiltered tap water when I know there is. Then it also did not detect any chlorine in a cup of bleach water. In a cup of dirty crystal cat litter mixed into water, the strips said there was no ammonia. Then in a cup of literal cleaning ammonia, again the strips said there was no ammonia. I tried several test strips for these experiments and none found any chlorine or ammonia. None of the strips were able to detect any chlorine or ammonia whatsoever in any sample tested. Other factors tested were also inaccurate and different strips showed varying results for the same test samples. After months I finally have an answer for why my animals kept dying; these strips telling me my water parameters were great when in reality there were several adjustments that needed to be made. If I had used better test strips, I could have fixed the problems sooner and not lost so many fish. Of course, because I assumed the strips were working for so long, by the time I realized they were bad test strips it was too late to return them. But I hope this helps someone else.

Doesnât pick up on ammonia in the tank
Not sure these are very accurate. In comparison to the API strips and even the API master test kit these are good. I had ammonia in my tank and it didnât register any of the times I tested my tank on the strip. I tested the water with my master kit and had a near dangerous level of ammonia in my tank. I took the water to my local fish store and had them test the water as well and they also found the ammonia in my tank. The rest of the strip seems to be okay. Slightly off tho. Not sure Iâd buy these again.

These work well and seem accurate to me
I really just bought these for convenience. Dunking a test strip in for 3 seconds is much easier than filling 4 vials with something like API’s master test kit.I did do comparisons twice between these and the API Master test kit and was happy to see that they basically give me the same readings.API’s kit certainly shows things on a smaller scale. Showing things like 0.25PPM on the nitrite scale. However, it likely doesn’t matter at that low of a level anyway.I’m certainly not getting rid of my API kit but this is nice to have to just check once in a while even though my tank is pretty stable

I used pure ammonia to see if the tests were accurate, the result showed 0 every time. Save your money!

Não consigo usar com precisão ele leva tempo pra secar e os resultados pra mim são confusos

Multiple test strips over 2 weeks showed no results for ammonia, Nitrite or Nitrate. It shouldâ be shown at least one of them especially as I was doing a fish in cycle. These donât work and definitely canât be trusted.

Tested 2 different types of water. Tested out identically and only caused the colours on the strip to bleed without changing
Samantha –
Tested the strips with different liquids to make sure they’re accurate – they are not. They don’t react at all to ammonia.
