Birds Love It!
The birds and squirrels in my yard love these seeds. The bag was fresh and didn’t have any bad smell. You can tell that the seeds are fresh as they darker and not dusty. Just note, that the shells will make a mess on the floor. Other than that, the birds and squirrels LOVE them and I will continue to purchase these for them!

Birds and squirrels treats
I enjoy leaving food options out for the mama squirrel and her lil niblets that have been coming to my yard for years to forage. I also leave these out for the birds, mainly a murder of crows that are very aware that my yard is where the goodies are. This bag is a fair price for the size and every one I’ve received has been without any filler or mold, just a full bag of seeds. I don’t mind the empty shells left behind but something you might want to consider.

Birds, squirrels etc. love these seeds.
If you have wild birds in your backyard this is a staple. Birds make a mess as do the squirrels but it is worth watching them out a picture window. Spring is coming……

Good, clean seed
I went cheap and got a big bag of sunflower seed from the local hardware store, and it was dirty, laced with twigs and junk, and had a funk to it. This seed is much higher quality and in much better condition.

The best black oil seeds I have found
I have a whole flock of house finches and a few chickadees who I feed year round. They eat a lot!! At least 10lbs per month. I live in Seattle and they are here through the winter. It is my opinion that these are some of the best quality in high fat content that they must have through the winter. The price is also good when you have to buy a lot. Please be aware of seeds that are not actually good black oil seeds. These would look a little striped instead of being basically solid black. I recently had a bad experience ordering some that were not what I would call actual or very good black oil sunflower seeds.I plan to stick with these for my very important little friends.
