Exactly what I was looking for!
The biggest thing is to know what you’re buying. This dish is heavy! It’s like an inch and a half solid rock. It is not cast resin which is very light and what a lot of reptile dishes are made from. Luckily, heavy rock is just what I wanted. All of my hogs have a tendency to knock their water dish over immediately so I like to use heavy dishes for them.Size: The image is a 40 gallon bioactive western Hognose enclosure (plants still growing in). This dish fills a decent portion of the corner of that 40 gal viv. I’d recommend getting this dish before you design your setup so that you can work with the dimensions. This is the perfect size for my 350g female to soak in. It could definitely house some small feeder fish in a garter setup.Cleaning: it’s heavy and rock, so it’s very textured. I clean it using a scrub brush dedicated to reptiles and dawn. I don’t think these features are bad, it’s just something you happily deal with if you like heavy reptile supplies.Appearance: this looks great, the ‘paint job’ or marbling or whatever they did is gorgeous and blends in great. I think it would look fantastic in any vivarium.Added bonus – the isopods love it!

    Great Bowl!
The bowl is well made and a great size for my ball python. The only negative is that the bowl was very sticky when I got it, almost like the resin hadn’t cured properly. I had to scrub it down several to remove the sticky layer but after that I’ve been happy with it!

    Great product
a little bigger than what i was expecting, but I’m very happy with my purchase. note that the sides of the small dish are not at a 90 degree angle, so it does not sit flush in the corner of your enclosure. i was a bit disappointed by this. the dish itself looks very natural and complements the enclosure very well. it does have a sticky residue that goes away after a while. lightweight to hold, but heavy enough I’m not worried about my gargoyle gecko flipping it over. its just big enough for her to soak in.

It’s not as large as described.
I do like the size but it does not hold as much water as it stated in the description. One gallon vs. 32 oz. is a pretty big difference. (I measured it.) I ordered brown, it came white. I’m not too terribly picky so I didn’t return it. However, it doesn’t match the enclosure. I am a little bummed about that. I would have liked the description to be more accurate so I gave 4 stars. It serves a purpose in the 4’×2′ enclosure & my ball python doesn’t care what color or size it is as long as she has fresh water to drink.

    Small size
Good dish for my hermit crab habitat. I use it for salt water. No issues. No leaks. Easy to clean. The size is small but it was the size I was looking for. Doesn’t hold much water. But works for what I use it for.

    Best purchase!
Honestly this is one of the best purchases I’ve made for my ball python. She is full grown and in a 36″ x 20″ glass tank. This water bowl feels like real stone and is HUGE for the price!! You won’t find a better deal for the quality here. It cleans easy and my snake can drink from it or soak in it if she wants. Amazing product and price!!!

Extra Large Claiming One Gallon Capacity Is Misleading & Waste Of Time!
I wanted a new water / soaking bowl for my snake that’s growing so I searched for the largest bowl possible.I found this “Extra Large” bowl claiming to have 1 gallon capacity, which would be ideal. This bowl can barely fit two 16oz of water which would only be 32oz. A gallon is 128oz. I would need 8 bottles of water in this bowl! Waste of my time!!

I got this for my crested gecko, it stains easily, but it’s not difficult to clean, and it’s the perfect size for Kiwi(the gecko)!

I bought this for my hamster – I wanted something I could put his fresh veggies, fruit, etc. in and this shallow dish is perfect for that! The look is very pretty, a nice marbled rock, and matches the natural habitat look I like.

They aren’t lying when they say extra small, but it’s perfect for a calcium dish which is what I purchased it for

This bowl is great for my baby corn snake, and he loves it! the only draw back is the material it’s made of, I think soapstone. It sticks to the substrate in his bin, and as of right now I just have him on paper towel, so when I take out his bowl to refresh every day, it takes everything in the bin with it… I just keep a separate scrap of paper towel on the bottom of the bowl so it doesn’t stick to the big sheets.
