Easy to use
I have these in my snake tank on both the cool and warm sides. They are quick to install, easy to read, and display the temperature & humidity. Simple design, they don’t have a backlight, but I have had no issues being able to read the values. They stick well and I have not had to mess with them since putting them in. Great value for the buy, would recommend.

Seems to work well and accurate to a degree with my laser gun. Easy to read and has held up well with my beardie for a year and the battery hasnât died yet. Very cheap and great value.

I bought these for my blue tongue skink and leopard gecko. Ive only been using these for about a week, so I can’t speak to battery life or the longevity of these. So far, I can see they do read the temperature and humidity correctly. They’re simple to use and they work well. I will be buying these again !

These are nice and small and they work as expected. However, once they are place on the tank it is near impossible to get it off to replace the battery or move. I tried to get one off the side of my tank to move it to a new spot and it broke into a ton of pieces. They are easy to read and seem to be accurate on heat, I wonder that they aren’t as accurate in humidity though. Even when I add water to the moss in the tank, the humidity level stays the same on the meter.

They look nice and stick well to my sneks house but I know for sure that there is a temperature difference in both sides just by touching the outside of her tank.. itâs a 40gal tank with a ceramic heat emitter on top and an UTH on one side and my UTH with probe in/at substrate reads one number, this product at close to 1/3 of the way up her tank reads a different number, and the thermometer I have up top reads a different one too.. But on the cool side⦠it only reads 1-2 degrees off from the hot side. I know for sure it stays around 72-77 on cool side and 85-90 on hot. So actuate? Not sure. Brightness, there is none. She hasnât ripped one off the glass yet tho so they do stick good!

Wish they would last longer
The design is good and they are easy to use. They don’t last very long. I’ve bought them a couple of times for my frogs’ tank and can’t figure out what causes them to spas out after a month or two. I won’t be purchasing anymore.

Not even closeâ¦
Received these 2 days ago. The first day I pulled the plastic from the battery compartment and put them in the small box Iâm currently housing a box turtle until the large house comes in. One of them is about 5 inches from his basking spot, which is about 10-12 inches below a 50w UVB bulb, all inside a bedroom. It read 41 degrees. When I woke up, it was still reading 41 degrees. I took it out, took out both batteries, wiped them carefully with a lint-free cloth, made sure the connectors were good, and replaced them and then the unit. Put his lamp back on. 6 hours later it reads 44 degrees. The other was near his hide, away from the lamp. It also read 44 degrees the whole time. I know my room isnât 44 degrees, so Iâd have to say these are definitely not accurate.

UPDATE (10/26/2024): After four days of usage, one of them has already stopped working. Tried changing the batteries and no luck, it’s completely dead. I tried contacting Customer Service, and so far no reply yet. If Customer Service is able to help, I will update my review. As of right now, note that these thermometers are delicate and take caution when choosing which tape to use as they’re not provided upon purchase as indicated in their photos.There is some false advertising in the pictures. The thermometers DO NOT come with the pieces of tape like they’re shown. So when you get them, you can’t stick them on your tanks as easy as you expected. You need to provide the tape yourself. You also need to ensure the tape you use isn’t too strong or it will be troublesome to remove the thermometers in the future to change the batteries.
