It works!
I got this when I found just one little fry in my tank. At first I improvised and set a net with her in it at the top of the tank, but she needed more room. This mesh box did the trick. It was super easy to set up and the suction cups worked really well.My fry (Goldie) stayed in this box until she was big enough to join the other fish in the tank.

Itâs ok
Only wish the holes were a little smaller babies got so small they swim right through the net into the tank. Luckily, they made it to the bottom. I hope they survive. Currently use it to hold fish and shrimp while I clean the bottom of the tank when doing maintenance

Worked well for me
I used these to catch mystery snail eggs as they hatched so I could move them to other aquariums. Worked well for that.

Better for small fish
Theyve held up but can be knocked down super easy by 4 inch or bigger fish. If you dont want to risk your fry getting eaten, just put them in a separate tank and dont bother buying.

As described
Great for fry or other types of aquatic fry/babies

Not safe for fish
Unfortunately several guppy fry got stuck between the mesh and the glass of the tank and passed away so I wonât be using this type again. Itâs hard to even see how or why, other than thereâs a bit of âslackâ in the mesh, just bc the fine mesh is a bit stretchy, so the fry somehow get stuck up against it around the frame part perhaps. I also think part of the issue was some of the smaller guppies on the OUTSIDE of the mesh box got stuck in between. Just doesnât appear to be safe. I have a hard time finding EXACTLY what got them stuck like that but it happened with at least three or four fry of different occasions. Also, I donât prefer this because the white mesh is really an eye sore (more than I thought it would be), and it obstructs the view of a decent portion of the tank. Iâd recommend a hard plastic or acrylic type version over this.

Got discolored quick
Works for a short term segregation…make sure water level above rim if you want to keep whatever is in segregation OUT OF YOUR TANK…my fish LITERALLY JUMPED OUT OF TANK AND INTO SEGREGATION…be aware

Best Nursery nets Iâve bought
These nets are super easy to assemble. Very stable and the nets have elastic around the top which is genius. Highly recommend and will definitely be buying these from now on
