Hard to set up but very aesthetic

â CUSTOMIZABLE TO PERFECTION! MUCH CHEAPER THAN GLASS OR CANOPY!
I had MANY tanks that really needed lids on them, but I didn’t want to go the traditional route and dish out a bunch if money to have glass cut for flush fitting canopies, and didn’t want to get the generic black lids with the lights included. because I was using very expensive aftermarket lighting. Even though evaporation can be an issue sometimes, depending on the time of year, this lids are a great invention that saves a ton of money and are customizable to the exact size of your tank.Nowadays people are getting into custom made tanks that are acrylic and often times, it’s impossible to find a premade lid to fit the tank. I’m impressed that these even fit rimless tanks, even though they do tend to stick out and not be as adhesive as tanks with rims, they still serve their purpose and function as a lid.Customizing these is super easy and takes nothing more than cutting measuring and cutting the mesh. Then fitting it with the magnetic panels, it takes less than twenty minutes as long as your measurements are accurate. I haven’t experienced any issues with the magnets corroding in my saltwater tanks, as of yet and hopefully I won’t. The lids can take a good bit of pressure on top, but definitely don’t sit anything on it that’s 5 pounds or more.I really don’t have any complaints about this, and even though, unless you have a mesh and magnetic lid, custom made for your tank, it’s not going to sit completely flush all the way around, but for what it is, what it costs and the amount of fabrication that it takes, this is definitely worth it! i hope that more sizes will come out soon, especially some for bigger sized tanks like 40 gallons all the way to 125 gallons. â¡

Easy to use
This comes with a large netting and magnetic strip so you can customize it to your own needs. Fairly large, we only had to use like half of it. Itâs super easy to set up and use, and works well for what we need.

Fits but this is a lesson
Always order custom. Every tank is different and needs a good custom lid, this works in a pinch but not a everyday fix for a well fitting lid

Customizable, can cut to size, and allows airflow to plants
This is a great replacement for the glass top. I needed more airflow due to being a planted tank, so this will work great for that. I can also cut it to size and allow my filter to fit. Overall a solid lid for aquariums.

Works to keep my snails in
I have a few nitrite snails and they love to escape, this fixed it and stopped them from getting out, it was a bit weird to get fitted right but once it is, it’s quite easy to remove and replace, I would have liked it to be a bit thinner mesh it casts a weird shadow with my light but it’s fine atleast my snails won’t die,

It works
This was very interesting to put together. I had a bit of a difficult time with it. It came out good though. My main complaint is the mesh. I really think it should be much thicker. I needed to cut a hole in it that way I could run my filter and heater in the tank. I worry that the hole will get bigger because the mesh is so thin.
