Best Fly Boot Ever – and I’ve tried every known model before
Easy to apply without right or left-sided ness to worry about; single size works for all four feet; comfortable to wear with no signs of rubbing (or evidence of my horse trying to remove them with torn velcro as in the past!); easy to remove and rinse and reapply without waiting to dry as they do so quickly – there’s no sheep-like fur that could get moldy; and you see Taye can move in them easily. The price is exceptional for the quality. Historically, we replaced fly boots at least annually at a much higher price – and some models twice a season. I seriously have tried every possible model of fly boot I could find looking for the right solution. Look. No. Further.

    Worth the money
I bought these for my horse to keep the flies off while she was getting over scratches. I was skeptical at first because they are so loose at the top. They worked like dream. In a couple days I noticed a difference and in 1weak my mare is almost completely healed. They are easy to wash and have stayed on. There is little wear at the heel, but I’m really happy with them.

    Shoofly boots
My Quarter horse was getting eaten alive by horse flies, flies and midges. These boots are awesome, they stay up and stay in place. We are on the third month of use and they still look great. Would recommend and they are affordable.

    incredible fly relief
i was skeptical. but my farrier suggested I try these for relief from the flies. the horses are so grateful every time i put these back on them. they are put out to pasture with them on, during the day and overnight. i do not use fly spray. these are so affective and are pretty durable. i have replaced one pair after just one summer, due to the amount one horse paces (between grazing or feed bags needing filling in am or pm); but the other pairs have lasted two summers (late june through mid september) with normal wear and tear- but they do not sag nor fall down. make sure to get right size (not too small) and check for any sores or chaffing around the coronet band. both my quarter horses needed the mediums. these really work in providing fly relief and extra stomping.

    The best!!!
I’ve been buying this brand for 3 years now. I will never buy another brand. I use to buy more expensive brands, however these work better. They are durable, sturdy, and most importantly they work.

    handy!
I like that they are easy to put on and take off. I love that they came in a set of 4 because most fly leggings come in sets of two, so you have to pay extra to cover all 4 legs. What i didn’t like is that because of the wide part at the top, my gelding keeps filling up the opening with manure. That’s a pain. I have to take them off and wash them off with the hose. The other horses didn’t have this problem. My other issue is (and probably just my other gelding) because of the stiffness, my other gelding couldn’t get used to them and was continually stomping his back feet. I finally took off the hinds and left the front ones on. The bright side to all of this is…since I’m not using them on the back legs, I will always have another pair ready to go on the fronts. I think the biggest plus to shoo fly leggings is they are holding up so well. They don’t sag like other leggings I’ve purchased in the past. I think (with good care) they will last a long time.

    Good enough to purchase twice!
I bought a set of these last year and they held up well despite a lot of abuse by my horse rolling in mud and running in the pasture with them on day after day. I bought another horse and she also worked on them pretty good. I thought they might rub too much if left on, but I have never seen any sign of that. I “retired” that set sort of. I purchased a new set for the horse I use a lot, and put the old set on a geriatric horse that is kinder to them. They work great at keeping flies from biting! Easy on and off. Good price for the quality.
