    Great option for healing kitties!
We purchased this recovery for our kittens for recovery from their spay and neuter. We did not want to use the hard plastic cones and both cats were able to work the soft cones off very quickly. These suits are cure and we really liked the cuff like material around the neck. It wasn’t too tight around and the rest of the suit fit well in a small. For reference both of our kittens had their surgeries at 5 1/2 months of age and both were between 5 and 6 pounds. We purchased two for each cat so that we could change them out every few days for washing and they were durable both through wear and washing. The Velcro closure also allowed for some measure of size adjustment. Neither cat loved wearing the recovery suit but they both adjusted fairly quickly. They were able to move easily in the suit and to successfully use the litter box without soiling or wetting the suit. All in all these recovery are great for protecting surgical areas while healing, they are cute, they are functional and well made for their purpose and we found them to be a great value for the money and far better than the cones.

    Lifesaver!!
This thing is absolutely AMAZING!! My 14.7lb male cat is currently recovering from bladder surgery. Knowing he was going to be on crate rest for 10-14 days and that being in an e-collar would be difficult in a cage, I looked into these. I’m SO glad I did because it is absolutely PERFECT!! Extremely soft, stretchy for putting on the legs, is well-made, easy to put on even my cat who is not cooperative at all, does not get wet or dirty when he uses the bathroom, completely covers his incision, fits him great even though it says it goes to 14lbs (might be accounting for long hair kitties, mine is medium), and finally the color options are cute!Tip! Buy 2!! It is normal for cats to accidentally release their bladder post-surgery. You’ll want a second one to change them into after wiping them down while the first one is being cleaned and dried. I’m so glad I thought to get a second one because I didn’t know this and it happened! One note I have is that I highly recommend you never leave your cat unsupervised in the recovery suit. Please change them into a soft cone if you’re leaving the house. The first day I went back to work after my cat’s surgery, I checked on him with the camera and saw on the last recording that he had gotten his back legs tangled in the recovery suit, managed to get to the litter box, but then he flipped it over on himself and hit his head on the side of the cage. Thank goodness I had a cat sitter neighbor on call who went over and checked him, changed him, etc. Needless to say, I never leave him alone in the suit anymore. He is able to get around the cage in the soft cone. He’s only in there if I’m not home or I’m doing chores etc. So he gets plenty of time on my bed in the suit.

Fits nicely, great quality, 100% recommend!
This recovery suit is very well suited for a cat’s anatomy. The arm and leg holes allow unrestricted movement. Size large is perfect for 11lbs. Also, no issues with soiled garment after she used the litter box. It keeps the spay surgical site protected and clean. Very easy to get on too! No struggle! Velcro is extremely strong and my cat can’t get it off. I think she actually LIKES wearing because she feels secure.

Great Alternative to a Cone for My Cat!
This recovery suit was a lifesaver for my cat after her surgery. It fit her snugly but comfortably, and she could move around without any issues. I loved that it kept her incision clean while allowing her to groom the rest of her body. Plus, she looked adorable in it! Highly recommended for pet owners looking for a less stressful alternative to the cone of shame.

    It works!!!
I can’t rave about this brand of onesie enough! It really is literally a lifesaver. Not just for my cat but for me! I only wish I’d gotten it prior to her spaying and tried it on her to make sure I got the right size. The sizing can be a little tricky if your cat is between sizes. At first I got a large because her back is 14″ and her weight 7.7 pounds. But it was too long and she managed to slither out of it a few times. Though I made it work for a while by duck taping top rear end until I got the medium the next day by joining prime for a month. The medium is a wee short on her but it works. She can’t get out of it. Even with the large, it had an immediate tranquilizing effect on her. My Vet. recommended the the cone? but she slipped right out of it in the carrier as we were leaving the Vet’s! It was terrible for me as I had to watch her 24/7 that whole first sleepless night. Even if your cat would tolerate the cone, I guarantee it would prefer this onesie!!! It allows a cat to groom face, butt, legs and paws. Alleviates boredom, gives it something to do to pass the time after eating while confined in a small leap proof space for what my Vet. recommends to be 10 days. Then some in house leaping is okay but the onesie should stay on for 14 days. Also, with all that shaving done for surgery, it’ll keep a cat from getting cold and seems to have a comforting effect overall. I highly recommend you getting this if your cat is going to have any kind of surgery that requires no licking during recovery on any part of the body the onesie covers. I tried another brand on account this one is a bit short for her back but had to send it back as it was too wide overall and the closure once I got it looked like my cat might be able to to pull it apart. Really really a great onesie. Makes recovery so much less miserable for both cat and human. I highly recommend it!!!

was easy to put on my cat but Houdini managed to get out of it in record time. The velcro is wide and good quality the material is thin.

My 4 month old kitten needed some major surgery that would leave a Plastic brace with sutures on the outside of his body. He will have this for 4 weeks. He was given a soft cone from the vet. Within hours of getting home the cone had him screaming. He hated it and was moving in ways that could injure him. I put a baby onsie on him and immediately looked for something just like this. As you can imagine a 4 month kitten who isn’t allowed to climb, jump and play was even restricted walking because of the stupid cone. The moment I put this on him he immediately perked up. I felt comfortable to have him walk around on his own terms with little worry he would hurt himself. He can use the litterbox with no issues and he sleeps very comfortably. I bought the small because he’s 4 months forgetting the detail that he is a maine coon and this won’t last too long on him so I have already purchased a medium. I cannot praise enough how much better this has made me feel about his recovery for a long period of time. I recommend this to anyone who has a cat with a tummy wound or even a back wound.

I was a little hesitant to buy but the large fits my cat pretty well. Definitely super easy to place cat into the suit. My cat is about 10lbs I believe and there is room for comfort which is nice.

It did what it was supposed to do.The sizing was a little hard to judge based on size. My cat is about 7lbs. So deciding between medium and large was a gamble and it ended up being too big. The velcro quality is awful, constantly fraying. Which is dangerous when I just had foreign objects removed from my cats stomach. I don’t want her eating the strands coming off the velcro. She absolutely hates the velcro as it makes her itchy and bothers her. The stitching is already coming undone and it hasn’t even been a week. The material is cheap and thin, there were holes starting in it from its fabrication. Not impressed, I bought two different ones since this one is so terrible.

I needed this suit to cover my cats belly because he is licking it bald. It worked in stopping the licking, and also allows him to use the litter box, which is good. Didn’t seem to bother him too much. However the stitching is very weak and after 3 days of use, it is coming apart, with threads unravelling which could be dangerous if the cat ingests it. Can be fixed by sewing, but maybe it should last a little longer than 3 days?
