high quality, good price
attracts a variety of birds and they all benefit with happy behavior and appearance. TY This second part review isn’t about product but shipping as AMAZON combined an additional 11lb box w/ 2 – 8lb, (16lbs) of shampoo + 6lbs bulk granulated onion and a bottle of pills. A refused dropped mess followed and the conclusion is; wait till one heavy item actually arrives before ordering another!!! A week between ordering doesn’t work. They wait and combine shipping anyway.

Wild Birds Loves These
Mealworms are a hit with the birds! Iâve been feeding them during the winter months, and they seem to love it. The mealworms are high quality and attract a variety of birds to my yard. A great, nutritious treat to keep our feathered friends well-fed and happy in colder weather!

My chickens love them!
The price was good and my chickens love them! Need I say more?
Anna Heard –
great
We grind these up in my dog’s food to add protein. Every so often you get a stray beetle or twig, but the price is right and they work well.

Added protein for birds
I mix these in with sunflower seeds for my wild bird feeder. The birds really seem to love these.

Good Price Quality Product
Originally started using this to attract Blue Birds, but seems like all of my birds are loving them. These were a better price per pound than I could get locally. Also appears to be of better quality than the product I get locally.

birds seem to really love them. I get the heebie jeebies putting them in the feeder, but they love them.

The Best Mealworms I’ve Ever Bought
I have been buying freeze-dried mealworms for years, 10 lbs at a time, for feeding wild birds year round–most importantly during harsh New England winters. I have bought many different brands, for various prices on Amazon. These are $5 more than the least expensive 10 lb packages on Amazon this year, but they are well worth it. First, they are packed with an inner plastic bag inside a sturdy carton, whereas most others are just a plastic bag stuffed in an Amazon box. (One time, the Amazon box into which the worms were packed was so small that it crushed the worms, and the box cutter I used cut open the bag as well as the box.) The bag is not resealable, but that’s no issue; I just use a chip clip on it, and leave it in its carton. But the packaging isn’t the best feature. These are by far the biggest, cleanest mealworms I have ever purchased. There isn’t a layer of broken pieces on the bottom of the bag, and it doesn’t have the horrendous stench that I have come to associate with other brands of FD mealworms. I am plagued by starlings, which guzzle down the mealworms, and I can’t do much to discourage them (besides, they need to eat, too), but I have never had so many bluebirds at my feeders before. Supposedly, bluebirds don’t eat freeze-dried mealworms, but that is definitely not the case. They LOVE them, so that’s why I gave “flavor” 5 stars– not because I personally tasted them. They wait patiently for the starlings to leave, then get their fill. Other birds– my resident Carolina wren, and tufted titmice– are also regulars at my two mealworm feeders. I recommend this product WITHOUT QUALIFICATION. These are the best you will find anywhere at any price.
