They appear to be sturdy and well built
The stitching is even, the elastic appears sturdy, and the hardware is strong, but as you can see from the photo, the straps are definitely different lengths. Will this matter in the long run? Probably not, but this is the first set of straps I’ve ever purchased (either as a standalone product or as part of a blanket or sheet) that haven’t been the same length. And I’m guessing I’ve gone through 20-30 blankets and sheets over the years, for 4 different horses/ponies. It remains to be seen how these straps hold up; it’s too early in the season here in Arizona to test them yet.

They work beautifully and are hard to find at most stores that sell equine supplies
This is a hard to find item at the store. Most replacement straps come with two metal snaps to make the connection. And while functional the metal snap that sits closest to the horse’s body, could cause pain when the horse lays down on the it. The kind I purchased includes only one metal snap and one elastic loop at the other end. That is much easier on the horse if it should lay on it. It’s all about keeping your horse warm and comfortable during cold weather, even if laying down.
