Works well on long-haired cat
When we adopted one of our cats, she had a bunch of matting. This worked well (in conjunction with a pet detangling spray) to help remove the matting. It cuts it out of the fur, as opposed to a normal pet brush that would try to comb through it. It is easy to grip and is a comfortable size to use. It is also easy to clean – you can just peel the fur off and give it a rinse or wash.

I have a straight haired shedding labradoodle. This is finally the solution. Cheaper than anything Iâve tried and more effective. I used it for 2 minutes and it looked like there was a small puppy made of fur on the ground. It was satisfying to use. Didnât hurt him at all. He looks fresh from the groomers!

The size was good, it was not the easiest to clean and I wish it had a catcher because it is messy id do it outside and cover yourself with something. Overall it got lots of hair out but it took a while.

This thing is AMAZING!!! I havenât brushed our long haired dog in a long time and oh my goodness!!! I did it twice today and this was the 2nd time. My dog feels so smooth and Iâm loving the less hair coming off of her. Wish I knew about this sooner!

Oh my gosh – it really works well
I trusted what I read and bought this brush, with fairly low expectations that it would do what I read. I have a younger cat that ended up having 3-4 very heavy chunks of matted fur on her backsides. We tried the combs, and the scissors (very carefully) and could not get rid of them.Enter this maxpower grooming brush. The 12 teeth side was for grooming, the 6 teeth side was for dematting. We did the 12 teeth initially, and she seemed to like it. We switched to the 6 teeth and you can feel that it really does dig in and grab the matted fur. It does, kind of, brush through the area, but when you apply yourself it really digs in and tries to dislodge the knot. I did it gently initially, then just tried to get ‘into it’ and pull it out.As I did it, she definitely could fee something, but no whimper, no claws or swipes, just a look back at me with a ‘what are you doing back there’ kind of nod. Within maybe 8-10 drags of the brush the knot was gone, and I easily pulled it away from her. You can tell/feel it’s pulling on her, and she did vocalize a bit on the last few drags, but certainly nothing in pain, no meows.We decided one knot per session, so over the next few days, maybe week, we would attack the other knots. One or 2 were easy, one or 2 were really imbedded, but, the magic worked and they came out. I just finished the last one today, and she is knot free.Our girl I guess is a short haired cat, and this brush worked wonders. My wife and I are so glad we got it and can 100% recommend it.

In the past 50 years, we have had 9 cats. This one, #9, sheds the most. We have tried numerous pet brushes and combs, but this one is by far the best. It gets the fur that buried under her guard hairs. Another plus is that she looks forward to being brushed before breakfast. The attached picture was taken 10 minutes after we got the brush.

I love this product! I went through so many combs, slickers, brushes, etc before finding this and I wish Iâd found it first! Now we almost exclusively use this, especially when my Great Pyrenees is shedding. It gets out all the loose fur, but doesnât mess with anything still attached. Itâs much faster than any others Iâve used as well. In my opinion, it works better than a furminator and also doesnât cause the damage that can.

I donât often write reviews. This grooming tool impressed me so much I have to share.Iâve used several different tools to tackle my cats matts. This is the only one Iâve been completely satisfied with.My little girl has mid length hair which tends to matt from her mid back to her tail. She is chonky and has difficulty grooming that area. If I donât stay on it, she gets messy.Each side of the tool addressed different areas. She was a very good girl, even though she squeaked occasionally, she purred her way through the process and we were both happy with the results. First photo not the best before shot, but you get the idea. Second is after grooming. Last is happy cat. ðI highly recommend this product!!
