Great for travel, took this to Arg. and fished. Made my trip complete being able to have my own rod with me. I am still getting used to it but had a great time casting.

entry level average quality
this is an entry level travel fly rod combo of ;average quality for this level that is the 3/4wt here are my observations1. the pole is a 4 piece pole designed for travel and as such would be good as a pack pole or travel pole due to is compact design and travel case which holds the rod, reel and a small amount of flies and leaders in an easily carried and packed case2. the pole itself is a very light weight pole that will work for average size trout and fish of that size. the pole has acceptable action for a 4 section pole and can toss a line easily in the 30′ distance3. the reel seat is not the best and I had to work a little to get the reel to seat firmly in place4. the real itself is small but does match the size of the pole, and is as basic as they come and low end quality the handle is to small to really be comfortable when reeling4. the fly box that comes with maybe 9 flies is a decent box and I thought the flies were also decent qualityover all: this is an entry level fly pole combo of average quality for this level that is very light weight suitable for smaller size fish for the beginner I would recommend you start with the 5 or 5/6wt not the 3/4 which is a little short and fragile
