great sand! only needed to wash it twice, i think it came pre-washed which is very nice. there was some cloudiness as with all sands, but it’s cleared up a lot within a few hours. my axolotl is enjoying roaming around and even had her dinner shortly after putting the sand in

One quick rinse and into the tank.
I splurged on this sand because it said it was rinsed and kiln dried. I am so glad I did!I rinsed it one time and put it in the tank. I did not want to rinse sand over and over to get it clear. There was a hint of cloudiness for about 4 hours and then crystal clear.It is a fine sand and very light colored.I highly recommend this sand! ð

didn’t have to rinse too much low dust will float when filling aquarium but just swirl the water and it settles very well a little pricey but water stays clear not cloudy in tank would buy again a 40lb bag was enough for my 55 gallon long aquarium
