Great!!
Used this for a year while I was at college and it was great. Quiet filter. Never used the light on it so Iâm not sure what people mean by it electrocuting their fish. Perfect size for one beta fish or one gold fish. Really easy to assemble. And the price is reasonable. I did replace the sand it came with and put aquarium rocks instead because it was easier for me to clean.

Filter Stopped After 1month of Use
Read the previous reviews for this, but thought I would give it a chance because itâs so cute. The filter stopped working after one month of use. I also think the filter is too strong for the size of the tank. Our fish seemed to be sucked to the filter area. I would return it if I could, but itâs past the return date.

Caution: Possible Fish Killer
The product worked fine for about 2 months, my betta fish was loving life in his new home then one day the pump that makes the water continuously pump thru the tank stopped working as well as the power/mode button that allowed you to change the light colors. Went to check it out and saw the wires on the back of the top assembly/terminal were completely corroded leading to the pump wires shorting out and apparently elecrtocuting our Betts Fish, Malcom. Also, as stated above, the entire power/mode button no long works and the light is stuck one color that continues to flash nonstop like a strobe light. Needless to say, I’ve got three very devastated little ones who got Malcom as their Easter gift. Can’t find anywhere on the product page to contact seller so am leaving review in hopes they see it. Would love speak to the company 1 on 1 to try and resolve, if nothing else return defective item for a refund. Aside from that, it was an awesome tank while it lasted. Rip Malcom. Will happily supply additional photos of damage wires if needed.

Loved it until filter stopped working!
After just a few months with regular cleaning and beta fish loved atmosphere, filter stopped working! Now what? Whole new tank?

UPDATE: 6 weeks from purchase and the light in the lid just stopped working.. Filter still works..Bought this for my sons Betta fish. Set up was easy.. Filter seems to work fine.. My only complaint is that i think the suction is a little bit too much for Betta fish. I noticed after the first couple days that when the filter is on, the fish gets pulled to the right side where the water sucks through to the back. So.. i don’t leave the filter on.. I’ll turn it on long enough for the water to clear up then i turn it off.. I don’t know if your supposed to do that.. But its working out for us soo far.

Stopped working after 11 days of use
This tank was ok for the price ⦠at first. Itâs been 15 days since I purchased it on May 7th, received it on May 10th, now itâs May 22nd and the filter just stopped running. Other issues I had included a water flow that was too strong for a beta fish and disrupted his ability to eat, and absolutely no instructions for assembly of the filtration system. Additionally, if you want a heater (which is pretty necessary for any tropical fish) thereâs no notch for the cord so the lid wonât fit properly.

Very cute tank
Very cute but very small capacity, exactly 1 gallon. Too small for anything other than one beta, and may even be too small for that. Quiet operation and nice trickling sound. Vibrant lighting colors. Small footprint for a small area. I really like this tank but I have to return it because it was too small for even just one goldfish.
