Worth the Money
I bought this bark as a component for my tropical/ABG inspired substrate. It seems to be a great quality bark, good size and a variety of texture. There isn’t any mites, pests, mold, or anything of that nature in my bag of bark. It’s a good deal, there is a lot of bark in the bag and it didn’t empty my wallet. I’m definitely happy with my purchase.

Love this reptile substrate
Zilla is the best. Even if my reptile flips the water dish over the stuff never molds or smells gross. Every order this every month for my many critters like a Tegu and chubby frog . Also, when I change their cages every week or week and a half I throw a used bark in my garden. I like that I donât have to throw this away and I can use it as ground mulch afterwards.

Used for plant soil.
I use this as a additive for my soil to make it more chunky. Been a few months now and seems to be working great! I recommend if youâre looking for some bark to add to soil just have gloves or youâll get splinters.

Good product!
Came in a big bag which will last me forever. The only mess you is the dust and slivers of wood it leaves behind. Easy to scoop out and toss when dirty. Pieces of bark are the size of a penny to about a quarter but very. Created gecko approved.

Just what I needed
I have a juvenile iguana and needed this substrate! It worked perfectly. In fact, Iâm about to grab some more. I recommend to all that have baby to juvenile iguanas

I donât have any reptiles. I bought this to mix them into potting mix for plants to increase drainage. I also used it on some orchids. But these barks are huge, and a lot of them are narrow long sticks that you have to manually pick out. Other than that, this is great. Reasonable price and the barks look clean and fresh. My plants all love the simple recipe of cheap potting mix + perlite + barks.
Ordered this, upin receiving it, realzied the sizing was way off. Pieces did not fit properly, head/eye packs were too small. Sent back for refund which I did get. –

The barks are not treated well, grew fuzzy fungus all over my soil surface (I used it as a soil add on). Not going to continue to use it. And I know the fungus started from the barks because barks on dry soil had fuzz on them
