Fluker’s incandescent light bulbs provide the radiant heat (infrared light) that reptiles need. Reptiles are ectothermic and depend on their environmental temperature to regulate their core body temperature. If a reptile is not provided an appropriate environmental temperature range (ETR), it may be predisposed to chronic infections. Because ETR’s vary from species to species, ask your pet professional or review available literature for guidance in determining the appropriate ETR for your pet.

Amazon Customer –
lasts a long time
I use this bulb to heat up a room and because sunlight overhead helps my attitude and fights mold. It takes the edge off the winter chill in a small space after several hours. A space heater does the rest. I live in a trailer with no insulation.

Works well for my tank
Using for leopard gecko with a standard lamp and timer. Keeps the heat and sunlight consistent.

Great Value Bulb
Great value bulb for my royal python since he only requires moderate temps. He seems to prefer the day glow bulbs to the traditional yellow/orange ones.

Terrible! Lasted 1 month.
Bought this light bulb on September 11th, it is now October 19th, and it has burned out. Ridiculous!

Favorite brand
These last longer than any other brand. With other brands the filament pops SO FAST with my corn snakes light going on and off for day/night hours (40 gal tank, 100 watt). This one lasts (I got my last bulb like 6 months ago) and it’s the cheapest, in-store and online. Highly recommend this brand in general from a former pet store employee.

Doubled in price!
So I have always gotten these for $4.99, all of a sudden itâs over $10?? No way. They are decent bulbs but donât last that long, I need to replace 1 bulb every month. I use these for my 2 bearded dragon tanks and have gotten one a month for years but to all the sudden double the price is gonna be a no for me. Thatâs how you lose a long time customerâ¦.

It’s cheap but it’s also garbage.
