I use the step platform at the higher height, which means that there are separate step pieces that click into place on the underside of the platform. My only complaint is that one of these pieces doesnât click in tightly, and so it falls out if I lift the entire step platform to move it somewhere else. But I like the platform – itâs very sturdy and sits solidly on the floor even if Iâm standing along one edge. Very good product.

I love that it came with little risers that was so easy to put on. I use it everyday and it is very sturdy. Love that it is not super long because I have small feet and this size is so much more comfortable for me to use and I am able to maneuver on without tripping. I enjoy doing all kinds of different workouts with it. From leg lifts, to knee raises, even push ups among other movements. So fun to exercise with.

I needed a step platform to do some of my physical therapy. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but I also didn’t want anything cheap. This was the least expensive step platform I found, I wanted pink and black, so this was perfect! It is not cheap at all. I can put my full weight (145) on it and it doesn’t give at all. I recommend!!

3 Stars for Quality – 5 Stars I like Anyway
I am giving this 3 stars because of quality and strength. The legs are never going to go on without a fight and a rubber mallet. Iâm tempted to just throw them away. The center âgivesâ when you step on it. I am avoiding the center. I am giving this 5 stars because I like it and NEED it anyway. I need a low, no legs, platform to step on / off to build some cardio and strengthen the muscles that support the bad knees. I am avoiding stepping on the center. I step near the ends as they seem strong and steady. I amAlso giving it 5 stars because I needed something small that wonât take up space. I started on a low count and it immediately got my heart pumping. Low, flat â step up/down, front facing, left side, right side. Again, I really like it. I like the 18-inch length, it is light, easy to move out of the way and it can serve as a low footstool. So, it can be versatile. I am keeping the 3 stars because of my concerns for overall durability.

As they say “looks can be deceiving”. Definitely the case with this step. I was very impressed when I first opened it up, it felt solid, and was an awesome size. Having recently had a spinal fusion surgery – amongst other operations and procedures, I was purchasing this to assist me with rehabilitation and recovery. I decided to do a small workout using this step and discovered it has a dangerous manufacturing fault (or is just generally poor quality). As can be seen in the pictures above, particularly the one with the ruler across it showing the problem area. The steps top layer has a defect and dramatically sinks when any weight is put on it. This was not immediately noticeable until, of course, my foot landed on it and got caught in it! Basically tripping me. Upon further inspection it sinks on the edges of both sides. Now, as can be seen in the image with the ruler across, it has began developing a permanent “depression”. Over time this will continue to get worse and worse and if you decided to continue using it then it would be best to “exercise” extreme caution on where your foot placement is. Unfortunately for me, I have permanent nerve damage from the spinal issues and now due to my foot catching on the sunken part of this product this has now aggravated it. It took 3 hours, being transferred from department to department and multiple Amazon representatives avoiding questions or saying they didn’t know this or that. They required me to answer all their questions and requested further evidence of the fault in order to decide whether to remove the product from sale to cover themselves from any further issues. Again, unfortunately, there already is an issue…me. Not only did I waste 3 hours of my time due to their customer service (or lack of), but I had to participate in THEIR internal investigation, wait 24 hours to speak to someone in a position to talk about situations like this, no longer have a suitable product to use, and to top it off their product has aggravated an injury I have spent nearly a year trying to recover from.Finally the relevant department contacts me and offers minimal further assistance. Man, Amazon’s customer service and experience is just seriously lacking sometimes. Looks like this will need to be taken further.
