Small Koi Pond
My 21 koi love the food. It is just a fuzz larger than other foods I have used, but the price is right and the fish don’t mind. Most of my Koi are 2′ or larger anyway.

Weâve got a 1/4 acre Koi pond with about 150 Koi. I feed once a day, but still burn through about 100lbs of food a month during the summer months, which can get pretty expensive. I tried this food pellet as an economic alternative and Iâm very pleased with the results. The ingredients are comparable and the quality and consistency seems good. They float just as well as a more expensive brand, and the fish love them.

Good price for large amount of fish food
Have seen prices for fish food go way up recently. Found this 50lb bag of fish food for my koi pond. I know this is not specific for koi, but alternate using with actual koi food. Happy with food so far and fish seem fine. The pellets do float and the fish do eat in same fashion as regular koi food. Good value for what I paid. I did notice the price has gone up on this 50lb bag by more than 50% recently.

The item description states “flake” style, but this is actually small pellets which I wanted to avoid and did not want. I searched specifically for a flake type of fish food as I just stocked my pond, and the fish are very small.
