Worked great for messy ribs!
These plates and napkins worked perfectly for what I needed, a fun derby-themed set for our cookout.The dinner plates are a good thickness, they held messy ribs, green salad with dressing, and chips perfectly well. No leaking, ripping, bending, and plenty of space to fit a meal. The dessert plates held fruit and cake beautifully and had room to spare.The napkins are better than usual quality, a big enough size unfolded to keep my hands and face tidy through my meal, and thick enough to not tear a bit even though the ribs were reasonably saucy and the napking was fully covered in it by the end of my meal.The prints are cute, fun and bright, and you get plenty of plates and napkins for everyone- 50 of each size plate and 50 napkins. I would order these again.

Awesome Kentucky Derby Party Set!!
These plates and napkins are absolutely perfect for anyone hosting a Kentucky Derby Party! The plates are sturdy and will hold a lot of food. The napkins are absorbent, these are exactly what I’d expect out of novelty plates and napkins. The designs are very bright and are very and will certainly add some pizazz to your party!!!You should certainly consider getting this set!

Large plates…
If you live in Kentucky, or plan on celebrating the Kentucky Derby with lots of food…these plates and napkins would be good for the event. They’re nice and large. The oval shape till allow you to get plenty of food on those plates. They come in the standard quality for most oval shaped tableware. I usually find that the oval shaped plates have a little bit better strength. So they hold up a lot better than some of the regular round paper plates. But it’s a pretty cute plate and napkins set to pile up the food while you are enjoying the race.

Last year right after the derby I got -a sterling silver mint julip cup/glass and. Have been waiting almost an entire year to use it These napkins are going to be the highlight of the partyThey are thick, heavy yet lightweight, and absorbent. I tried one and couldnât believe how much liquid it wiped up without tearing or ripping. The design is exactly as advertised which always is not the case. My derby party is going to be a hot!! I look forward to it. All that will be missing is the blanket of roses, but I still have a month to make one.

Excellent sized plate
These plates can really hold a big meal! – they are 12 1/4″ by 10 1/2″ and they are at least 1 1/4″ deep. Their size and sturdiness are great for a barbecue – the baked beans won’t be sliding off these plates. The napkins are 6 1/2″ by 6 1/2″. The colors and images are nice quality. I appreciate that they are sold in a quantity of 50, because I always like to purchase more than the number of guests so people can get a fresh plate if they choose to go back for seconds later.

I got these for the Derby party we have been hosting for my family. These are nice! Both items are thick and sturdy, and the plates will hold a lot… which is important since the race ends so quickly, and it is mostly all about the food (and headwear)!

Cute, thin, and pricey
Decent plates but a bit pricey for their weight. These plates do the job but for their size they should be sturdier. Not sure why companies make such large plates so thin. They are very colorful and can hold quite a bit but need to be doubled or even tripled to hold up at a BBQ. The price is entirely too high for 50 plates.
