Upgrade to store bought filters.
This is an upgrade to the Top Fin filters that came with my aquarium. It claims to have three times the activated charcoal as others and it does appear to have more to it than the original because the Top Fin filter weighs 16 grams while these ones weigh 18 grams so it seems to have an extra two grams of filter material.

Best “off-brand” filters I’ve used!
I acquired these filters through Vine.I was interested in the product for use in my 10-gallon tank, which of course I use a Top Fin filter in.I of course then have used Top Fin brand filters. I have also used one other ‘off-brand’ that I honestly say is not good.If you’re looking for an off-brand filter, I highly recommend these.After replacing a fair amount of water in my tank, I switched to these filters.I needed to change it after a few hours. At first I thought these were a bust but it turns out they were just doing their job, a remarkably better job than the filters I had been using previously.I started using these filters on Friday. It is Sunday and I am going to be on my fourth filter this evening.I know that sounds like a lot, but I promise you my tank has not been this clean after months of regular water changes and using my previous filters.Each of these filters… I’ve used three so far… has lasted longer than the last one, and my tank decorations are effortlessly getting cleaner as a result of switching to this brand. They are EFFECTIVE!They come individually wrapped in the box. They are labeled ‘front’ so you know which way to insert the cartridge. They are a perfect fit and, as I described, incredibly effective.

Crystal Clear Tank
These PF-S replacement filter cartridges have made a big difference in the number of times that I need to change my tank water. They fit our filter perfectly and help keep the tank water crystal clear. They filter out impurities and keep the smell to a minimum. Each filter has 3x the amount of carbon that many other filters do. My fish now have an impeccably clean aquarium to live in and I don’t have to change the filters as often! I really appreciate that it cuts the amount of time that I have to spend on keeping up my tank.

These are great for my betta fish filter! I have been neglecting changing the filters out monthly because of the price, but these are such a good value that I am going to do that now no problem! I am much happier and so is my betta! 5 out of 5 stars!

Fit fine but skimp on the carbon.
These filter replacements fit my Topfin filter fine but compared to the actual Topfin brand they have about half as much carbon inside. Between that and the fact you can get the name brand filters for about the same price the value doesnât seem to be very good. Theyâll work for me since I only use them in my small 10 gallon quarantine tank that usually has no fish in it.

Standard size, perfect fit
These are standard, filters that fit my system perfectly. Pay attention when ordering — I need the horizontal ones, but you might need the vertical. They work well in my tank and seem to be standard thickness and durability, which is just what I need. Nice to be able to get a package of a dozen, as they are more affordable that way.
