SEAN ROUSH –
They work great
they are made from cheaper plastic then my originals but that is not a bad thing. the lighter plastic allows the cups to fill up by themselves easier and more water ends up in the cup. my last ones only fill half full then stop

Good and inexpensive watering cups
I was looking for external watering cups that used a gravity valve to control flow. These fit the bill.I installed 9 of these on my coturnix cages. Installation was easy although you must be able to reach the cups from the inside in order to install the securing screws. They are fairly lightweight which might be a longevity concern. They will also only install in one direction where as some other ones you can install either direction. However, for the price, I’m not complaining. One thing I don’t like about them is the springsThey are too weak. They all fill to only around 3/8 to 1/2 inch of water in the bottom. This hasn’t stopped my quail from using them but if I could, I’d prefer to have them fill more. It would be easy to adjust the water level down if needed with some gravel but there is no easy way to adjust the water level up with the springs they come with. I may try stretching the springs a bit.Since the listing didn’t mention the tubing size, I ordered 3/8″ ID vinyl tubing and it was a perfect fit.

Best watering choice IMO
Mounted externally with 3/8 inch ID silicone tubing, these don’t require the birds to LEARN how to peck at those sorry little yellow plungers, or other water-delivery systems. These are gravity fed and maintain a constant amount of water. I elongated the internal springs a bit to fill the cups a bit higher with water – extremely simple to take apart.

They work, with flaws
These cups do work, but the design is hard to keep clean. I wish there was an easy way to dump the dirty water that builds up from my quail back washing food into them. I have to flush then with the garden hose, which makes a mess. The springs are weak, and that means the cups barely fill before the water shuts off, but I remedied this by taking them apart, slightly stretching the springs and then putting them back together. This gives a little more resistance and the cups fill more.

Quail waterers
Had a similar waterer back several years ago when I had several hundred, now that Iâve scaled back to just family and friends, these water cups work fantastic
Fallon Duncan –
Work well
Work really well for small birds ( I have them for my coturnix quail) I donât think theyâll last forever but for the price Iâm ok with that
