Great for our Parakeets !
This is a great dish to add to both their cages. It’s easy for them to get additonal water!

Good product
This fits nicely on the cage and can be moved around easily. I like the stainless steel for cleanliness.

Too light to stay on the cage.
I have a conure in one cage and a Quaker in another cage. I find the other bowls too deep for them so I thought this would be nice change for them and easier for them to reach their food. Well the conure enjoyed it all right. He takes the plates and turns it over. Itâs a game for himâ¦.especially after I had clean his cage. He just plays with the plate. The Quaker did fine the first day and the following morning I hear this clicking noise. He was playing with the plate and managed to flip it over. did the same thing as the conure did.I wish there was a way for the plate to stay on the metal holder without them flipping it over. I went back to the big deep ones which they can. It flip over. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.

Large enough for budgies to nest in
There’s nothing wrong with this bowl but it is big enough for a budgie to mistake as a nest so I don’t recommend for a small hormonal bird.

Budgies love these dishes
I bought these dishes because I needed a shallower set of dishes for one of my budgies who has had an abdominal infection and was in pain bending down too far to eat. These helped her be able to eat much easier and with less pain. She’s recovering happily now but I’ll continue to use these dishes over others I’ve had before! I’d definitely recommend these dishes as they are sturdy, easy to clean, and my birds are happy with them.

Too light for the larger small parakeet’s.
I firstly want to say, I donât have a very large bird, but itâs not a tiny budgie. We have a young dusky headed conure and I would say itâs midway in size between a green cheek and a sun conure. I was certain that it showed similar sized parrots in the description and in reviews. I wouldnât say my bird is yet much bigger if at all than a cockatiel. I wanted stainless steel bowls to replace the narrow rectangular feed dishes that came with their cage for ease of cleaning and also to give our bird a bit more clearance around the head when eating. Our bird is too heavy for this bowl set up. Not only are the bowls so light that our bird can play flip the bowl and empty the entirety of their dinner and water into the bottom of the cage beyond their reach. but when they perched on the edge of the bowls after I first hung them in their holders their weight coupled with the short hooks on the holder resulted in the the bowls flipping up and falling down with bird on them. I wouldnât trust this for anything heavier than a budgie. And Iâm not sure I would trust more than one budgie to sit on it at the same time.

Don’t ever buy a bird bowl with this kind of lip on it!
It’s a really bad design, my bird loves grabbing the flat lip of these bowls and tossing them.

Great Bowls
These are very nice bowls, easy to clean, take out, put back in. I have mine near bottom of cage, so the resting bar sits against cage support bracket and sits evenly that way. Happy with purchase.
