For heavens sake please don’t be cruel enough to put fish in here. No, not even a Betta (they need a minimum of 5 gallons, a heater, a filter and a place to rest)But they are otherwise cute for water decor and even some emmersed plants!

NOT SUITABLE FOR LIVE FISH
I beg you do not buy this for live fish. Itâs not big enough and fish need somewhere to hide so seeing people put bettas in these with just a plant breaks my heart. Bettas need at the VERY least 5 gallons, preferable ten gallon tanks.

I am BEGGING you not to buy this for your betta. They need a five gallon tank minimum with a heater (they are tropical fish) and clean water at all times. It would be like a human living in a tiny closet that is only 45 degrees warm. When you put them in these tiny cups, they die slow painful deaths from ammonia poisoning. As shown in the picture, that is a betta living in one of these things located in a business. The fish is very, very sick. Half of his back tail has rotted off, and he is very pale. No animal deserves living conditions like this. Please either donât get a Betta or provide it with proper living conditions. They are living, breathing creatures that feel and suffer. Please give them the life they deserve.
