Works as expected
A shock collar should only be used as a last resort, specifically for extremely hostile animals who might be otherwise more harmful to themselves and others, so when choosing one I feel it’s important to find the right collar. This one has not disappointed me so far. It has a very long range and the charge lasts a long time, especially since I don’t really use it much. However, I’ve found that the vibration and warning tone options are quite effective when used in opposition to treats during training. There are also different tones, which you can train your dog to respond differently to depending on which you choose so that commands can technically be given from a distance. I’ve found this particularly helpful for training a dog that helps in fields, especially with the extremely long range it has. I have to say, the most important feature for me specifically is that it’s waterproof. Of course, you don’t want to use it to shock your animal if they’re wet, but I like to go swimming near lakes and beaches sometimes, so the fact that the collar doesn’t short out or trigger when it gets wet is a pretty big deal for me. Other collars sometimes can’t be trusted around water for a number of reasons. I don’t train dogs professionally myself, but I’m finding more and more features to this collar that have made personal training so much easier and personalized to the needs of both myself and my pet. The only thing I want to point out is that you have to be very careful when adjusting how tight it is. If you intend to use the shock features often, you have to find the best way to bridge the connection of the metal pieces without making it uncomfortably tight.

Very Effective
I recently got the Elite Trainer-Designed dog shock collar for my super active Labrador, and it’s been a big help with his training.The collar looks and feels sturdy, and my dog doesn’t seem bothered by it, even when wearing it for long periods of time. The four different training modes—light, beep, vibration, and shock—are easy to adjust, and I like that I can find the right level for my dog. The remote range is great, letting me keep control even when my dog is far away. The instant response feature is really handy, especially when I need to get his attention quickly. The waterproof design is a nice touch too, since my dog loves to splash around. Plus, the battery life is amazing—it lasts for months!Overall, this collar has been super practical for training and I would highly recommend.

Great collar
We’ve had the “E-Collar” for years and after it broke we searched for an affordable replacement. This is maybe our 3rd shock collar and it’s the best. I try not to shock, but use vibrate and beep feature. The beep is very loud and the vibrate really strong and they work well when correcting my dog. My only wish would be that the buttons be a bit harder to get to, like to “E-Collar” but besides that I like everything about this collar. I love that it’s all black also, instead of orange or some other bright color that lots of shock collars use.
