Easy to adjust without tools
Other float valve required screw driver to adjust level which was hard when installed in confined area. This one is adjustable just using fingers.

Water to our chickens is hard water. These float controls work OK, but won’t last long. More expensive ones have a rubber gasket that can be rotated slightly to greatly extend their useful lives. This has a small non-moveable gasket. If you have soft or conditioned water, it may be a good choice.
