Very economical for interior use
I installed these inside a horse barn where they are going to be protected from rain and weathering significantly. I think the fittings might rust or corrode if left outside for many years, but indoors they should last nearly indefinitely. This general design has been pretty ubiquitous in the industry as a safe good tie point. The lag screw seems to go into the wood deep enough and with relative ease after pre-drilling a hole. The swivel effect also helps to prevent horses from getting their ropes tangled up. For the price these seem quite economical for indoors and a good extra safety feature to have in your stables, barn or shelter.

Iâm a fan
Nice and heavy with good mounting hardware included. One of the magnets that keeps the ring in the closed position fell out. I donât find the magnet important while the ring is in use but itâs nice to have. I will glue it back in myself. Iâll just have to wait until a horse tests it to see how it will hold up. Overall, happy with them.

Broken out of the box
One of them was already broken and looks used!!!

Good thing I didn’t need all three at the same time
Price point was good, however one of them has already broken. One side of the magnetic closure pulled out of its nesting place. I did reattach with super glue, waiting to see if it holds.

The magnet is a bit weak but when you use it correctly it doesnât even need a magnet to stay close. They seem made well enough for the price and they will do their job for a competitive price
