As soon as I bent down to give it to my girls they took it out of my hand immediately. Theyâve never had bamboo anything before so I was surprised they didnât take any time to examine it first. Great product.

Quality is meh for price, packaging lacking
2nd EDIT: Loofah carrot is untouched. They’ve chewed up and eaten everything else, but the loofah hasn’t even gotten a nibble.EDIT: Little buddies _loved_ these sweet bamboo sticks. Really layed into them. They always did like sweet bamboo sticks before, but they really tore into these sticks and chewed through half of multiple sticks in a day or two. I Really have no idea why, because the sticks I had before were fully sealed in plastic, so should be more fresh than these. Maybe they pack them before each delivery?Sent placed loose in a cardboard box. Only the loofah carrot was sent sealed in plastic.These are all technically still food items, so even if dried this doesn’t seem sanitary enough even for rodents.Price is on the high side and the item quality doesn’t reflect the price.Cakes are too thick and none of the sellers of these items properly specify their dimensions. Almost seems deliberate, and it’s annoying. I needed a thinner cake to mount to the cage, and I didn’t want to hang them up using strings, which would not be good anyways because the rodents need a safe tasty chew toy mounted in corners where they feel safe expressing their chewing behavior.(If the seller responds saying that the items are fresh packed, I’m open to changing my review to reflect that since then it would be okay. Less than a week or two of warehouse storage wouldn’t be too big a deal. However Prime shipping is almost never direct from seller, and most likely sat in a warehouse for an extended amount of time. Honestly I don’t see how the seller could get away with this, because this kind of packaging should make it easily attract insects, which commonly affects other dried goods even in sealed bags from large companies.)I bought this expecting to get a “bundle sampler” that would be higher quality due to price.Haphazardly cut bamboo sticks, cakes too thick and stingy amounts of flower, and I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the loofah carrot, but I’ll update this review if the response is positive.But it doesn’t justify its higher price.
