Prefect height
Just got delivered today, set up took all of 5 minutes. DO NOT CUT all the zip ties! I don’t read and get scissor happy. And just snipped everything in sight. Thankfully my husband knows I don’t follow instructions and was there to annoy/help me. We were being stupid and got an Australian shepherd puppy and he is a smart little a hole who loves cat poop and relaxes by eating our foster kids toys. We had a few walmart gates that he has jumped, knocked over and eaten. So as this gate isn’t technically expensive. It was to us, going from a family of 2 adults to a family of 5 literary over night almost 90$ with shipping is a little tight for a one person income. But it fits in our hallway perfectly, it’s incredibly sturdy and the best part is that he can’t get over It. Our cats fit through easily. One is a bit chunky (14 pounds) the small pet door does come with locking method, it’s a little flip. Door can go either way in or out. Moves easily, we are keeping it unlocked and opened. The gate closes on its own which is great cause of the kids. It’s a simple white look, which works gorgeous us as our livingroom is nautical themed. Pretty much so far so good. It turns out to be junk or breaks early I’ll be sure to update.

Great design for a pet gate
Assembly was straightforward. I attached it to the walls at the end of our basement steps to keep our puppy out of the wonderland of cat boxes and stored items. The gate is easy to operate and wide enough to easily walk through. I love the bumper at the bottom. It keeps me from catching my toes on the bottom bar. It feels sturdy. So far our 30 pound puppy has not been able to get through the gate since it is solidly installed, sturdy, and the cat door actually is a little stiff so it can be opened at an angle and the pup hasnât pushed through.

I have allergies to dogs so I need a dog free zone. This fits well in my doorway and is easy to open and close. It is very sturdy and looks nice in my home.

could use improvement
as far as build quality goes, the gate looks well built and operates fine. I like that the gate swings both ways as that makes it self closing. my only complaint is the hinge mechanism on the little cat door. I keep tightening it but it loosens and then the little cat door swings within the larger gate door everytime you go through it. we have to keep it secured with bungee cords, which I had to buy since I don’t keep those just laying around. but I would otherwise recommend this particular product to other households with pets they need to keep separate. Although, on that note, my 55lb husky has found out that she can shimmy through the small cat door, so it won’t keep all dogs out ð¤£

Exactly what I needed
This gate is perfect for me. I needed something to fit a weird entryway to my kitchen to keep the dogs out. And my cat appreciates the door. He can jump over it, but not very easily. I canât speak for the baby proofing aspect, but as a pet owner I give it 5 stars. The gate itself is easy to install, easy to open and sturdy.

Cats free dogs out and easy open
I needed a gate that let the cats in and out of a room but kept the dogs out of it and this is almost perfect. I say almost because I have beagles and they are like snakes or mice and manage to squeeze through the smallest spaces. I fixed the problem with a zip tie holding the what I call cat door open enough for the cats but not enough for the dogs. I absolutely love how this gate opens you squeeze a button on the handle instead of having to pull the gate up. Because of that I’m saving up for 2 more. Noone wants to wrestle a gate open when they’re tired. Install was pretty simple there is no tool needed to tighten it down and the knobs are nice and big to grip.

Keeping the cat safe
I’m having to keep my sister’s dogs for several weeks as she recovers from major surgery. I am using this gate to block the dogs from being able to go upstairs. I need to keep them downstairs where I can keep my eyes on them when they are loose in the house. I have another taller gate upstairs keeping my cat confined. My cat is terrified of dogs. This double gate system is keeping the cat from seeing the dogs and the dogs from seeing the cat. Giving the cat a safer place to live/hide until the dogs can go home.
