Instructions:
1. Please follow the instructions or the assemble guide in Gallery to install the outdoor version butterfly habitat.
2. After opening your net cage, the PVC side will be creased from folding. Get the creases out quickly by blow drying the PVC with a hair dryer for about 5 minutes, or place PVC toward warm sun to relax wrinkles.
3. Always close the cage door so the zippers meet at the TOP CENTER. If a caterpillar is somewhere on the zipper, this will allow you to zip down the other side to open.
4. Clean the mesh cage after a disease outbreak or at season’s end by soaking it in a 5% bleach solution (19 parts water to 1 part bleach) for about 20 minutes. The cage can be soaked in a tub or laundry tub.
5. Rinse your butterfly garden with water and then let it sun dry- hang it on a clothesline or put a rock on the floor so it won’t blow away.
6. Store the outdoor version butterfly habitat in a dry and clean place, such as in a closet, behind a couch, etc.

PVC Outdoor monarch butterfly cage is weather, predation, tear, and parasitoid resistant. Nylon fabric is much stronger than conventional popup cage netting. Hammer the PVC pole together and make sure the poles are connected completed.

Parts donât match. Parts missing
I bought this twice. The first time it put together perfectly and easily and lasted a few months but the netting broke which allowed lizards to eat the caterpillars. Seller was gracious and sent me a new set. 2nd set Put together easily again and netting broke in a few months. This is the second one I purchased and the PVC stretch the netting so tight that I cld not fit all the connections together. I hope I can still use it although itâs pretty expensive for not working right. I need the enclosure right away bc I have a lot of caterpillars to protect right now so I canât return it, perhaps within the 30 days9/4/24: I took the enclosure apart and fit it back together and it fit fine. Worked well. Very thin so air can get through and Anya cannot penetrate. But can easily rip if u r not careful when opening and closing the enclosure. I released about 4 butterflies per day!!!!

It’s sturdy!
It was a pain in the neck to put together, BUT! It’s a super tight fit. It’s very sturdy. Won’t need to worry about the PVC tubes coming apart, that’s for sure ðð¯.

I love it! Was easy to set up. I was skeptical on purchasing it because of some negative reviews, but i am very happy on purchasing it. At first the cover wouldn’t go on right but after making sure all poles were pushed in correctly the cover fit nicely. I will be purchasing another soon

Flimsy and incorrectly designed
Excited by the fast shipping and large, easy to clean set up. Quickly frustrated, as all legs are almost identical in length, and are not marked or distinguished from one another in any way. No directions included. Even after finding the directions online, measuring each leg one at a time and putting this together correctly, the fabric is so delicate, zippers so light weight and the whole cover is too small for the frame. There are rips along edges, zippers heads falling off and almost impossible to rethread as the ends of the zippers are openly frayed. The corners are also thicker around the connectors, and when stretching the fabric over the corners it routinely catches on the larger piece and tears the mesh, thus the small holes all over.We have monarch eggs in our yard and are homeschooling. So this project means a lot to us and now we are left with no habitat, cuts and bruises from the pieces and losing out in butterfly metamorphosis.

Amazing Habitat!
Amazing butterfly habitat! I purchased this to teach my sons about the metamorphosis process. First time using it and we raised 14 beautiful Monarch butterflies. We love the double zipper options where we can open the habitat completely on one side or open it partially on another side. We also love that one side of the habitat is made of clear see-through plastic, making it very nice to enjoy watching the metamorphosis process. It brings us lots of peace and joy watching this amazing transformation right in front of our eyes in the comfort of our home. This habitat has raised a true passion and hobby in our family. We are now proud Monarch butterflies raisers. The Customer Service is absolutely awesome, they are super quick to respond and extremely professional. I highly recommend purchasing this habitat from this Seller. When putting this habitat together, I strongly suggest to use a hammer to beat the end of the poles slightly to make sure that the poles are completely attached to the connector. This ensures the screen does not rip. A++++ purchase! Iâm very happy I ordered this!

The netting is too small for the PVC frame!
I really wanted to give this 5 stars because I love the height of this habitat and how it’s made. But, I had to get a replacement the first time because when it came time to slide the netting over the bottom of the frame, the netting was too short and it ripped pretty bad. I got the replacement like in 2 days. In the comments I read you need to pound the PVC tubes together with a mallet, which I did. The netting was still pretty snug but I managed to get it over the bottom. However, one of the zippers broke and the plastic tore away from the netting again, but not as bad this time. I used duct tape to fix the tear as best as I could. Thankfully, the other zipper didn’t break. My plant fits nicely within the frame. Great concept but either the netting needs to be lengthened or the PVC tubes need to be shortened. The frame was easy to put together but with the netting being too short for the frame, it made the frame warp and bend a little.

Nice Butterfly Enclosure
First one came with incorrect number of each size poles so had to return it. Replacement arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Took about 10 minutes total to put together. Fits my large pot of milkweed real nice; looking forward to many caterpillars and monarch butterflies.

Sadly too flimsy, zip was broken when taken it out the package, there was some tears in it I believe from the zip. Very disappointed, had been keeping it until butterflies were ready. Not a cheap item either, Gonna have to buy something else.
